The Brooding Brick-Red Lips You Need in 2015
If it wasn't official before, now it is: The '90s are back. And they're back in the form of the perfect shade of brick lipstick. Not too red, not too goth, and completely mattified, the lips at the Naeem Khan Fall 2015 Show walked the line between Hollywood starlet and vampire, with just a hint of the orange hue we saw all over the runways at the Spring 2014 shows. Makeup artist James Boehmer for Nars Cosmetics completed the look with soft, chocolate-y smoky eyes, which added sophistication and glamour to the moody, autumnal look.

Here's what you need to get the lip look:

Nars Mysterious Red Velvet Matte Lip Pencil
Nars Mambo Eyeliner
Nars Jungle Red Lip Liner

The Sparkly Underliner That Wins Fashion Week Makeup
From far away, it's just a flash of reflective silver. Up close, it's a mesmerizing row of Swarovski crystals. No matter where you were sitting at New York Fashion Week (including a virtual front row seat), the eye embellishments at the Rodarte Fall 2015 Show looked stunning. Lead makeup artist James Kaliardos for Nars Cosmetics attached Swarovski crystals to a string and glued them to models' lower lash line, creating a dramatic, yet ethereal look. The best part about this look? It's an instant fix for sleep-deprived eyes. "The Swarovski crystal effect on the eye adds depth and shine to the lower lash and the glossy lip reflects the light," says Kaliardos. With a backing like that, how can we not add some glittery goodness into our makeup routine?

If you're not up for gluing rhinestones on your face just yet, tentatively try the trend by swiping a metallic eyeliner right under your lower lash line. We like L'Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in silver or gold.

This Modern Cat Eye Kicks No-Makeup Makeup to the Curb
While we love a good no-makeup makeup look, we like to think that New York Fashion Week is really meant for bold choices -- fashion is about taking risks, after all. That's why we're clamoring for our inky black shadow to recreate the edgy eye makeup from the Zimmermann Fall 2015 Show. The graphic, bold smoky shadow by makeup artist Jodie Boland was a more modern take on a '60s cat eye.

Get the look using a foolproof tool like CK One Eyeliner Marker to draw the eye, then set it with a powder like the matte black from the Lorac Pocket Pro 2 Eye Shadow Palette. Finish the look with a nude lip. (Find the best nude lip for your skin tone here.)

The Show-Stealing Cheeks That Have Our Hearts Aflutter
Bitten cheeks and bold lashes ruled the runway at the Honor 2015 New York Fashion Week showing.
