Why It's Worth the Price: Meadowfoam and argan oil make this spray oil incredibly moisturizing, but it sinks in fast and doesn't leave behind any residue. The oil consistency also helps the SPF last through laps in the pool or a dip in the ocean. And I love the subtle citrus scent.

Extra Special Spray

Why It's Worth the Price: It's a physical spray! Trust me -- they're hard to come by. Because mineral particles are larger than chemical particles, it's difficult to get them to fit through the nozzle of a spray bottle. Soleil Toujours made it happen -- and they did it well. Unlike the invisible sprays you're used to, this one goes on white so you can see the spots you missed. Then, it rubs in and disappears. The formula also contains red algae, vitamin C, vitamin E, green tea leaf extract and a slew of other botanicals for bonus anti-aging benefits.

Toss This in Your Purse

Why It's Worth the Price: Equitance is a skin care brand that just made the jump from Japan to the U.S.. Like many Asian skin care lines, its focus is brightening; this sunscreen has linoleic acid, shell ginger extract and a form of vitamin C to do just that. I love that it's a combination of mineral and chemical sunscreens so you get the benefits of both. And the bottle is small-purse friendly.

Moisturizer Replacer

Why It's Worth the Price: In the summer, I generally use a moisturizer with SPF and layer more sunscreen over it. This daily moisturizer saves me a step since it's wildly hydrating and has such a high SPF. (Just be sure to apply a full teaspoon.) It also has organic green tea, jojoba, aloe and, of course, argan oil -- all of which my skin loves.
