The Wrap-Around Ponytail
-Part dry hair to the side. Then take a small front section of hair from the larger side of the part and begin twisting it around the back, working more hair into the twist as you go.
-When you reach the back of your opposite ear, secure the twist with an elastic.
-Repeat the same twisting motion on the other side until the two twists meet in a low side ponytail.
-Release the first twist from the elastic, then twist both sections together to blend them. Secure with an elastic.

The Red Carpet Ponytail
hair -Curl hair with a curling iron and set curls with Redken Hot Sets 22 Thermal Setting Mist $17.
-Back comb hair from the crown to tease it.
-Gather all the hair that falls behind the ears into a mid-height ponytail.
-Take all of the hair that falls on the left side and cross it over the ponytail in back. Using a bobby pin, secure it just above the ponytail and off to the right. Spritz with Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray, $14.50.
-Repeat the same crossover motion with the hair on the right. Twist as you secure with a bobby pin.
-Apply Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish, $30, to the ponytail for lift and texture.
-Curl a few last pieces, and give a final misting of hairspray.
