The Lazy Girl's Ponytail
How to:
-Gather dry hair behind your ears into a low ponytail and secure with a clear elastic. Leave out two sections in front on either side of your face.
-Take both front sections and give them a light mist of Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray, $14.50, then pull them back over top of the elastic and twist them into a half-knot.
-Wrap the two leftover tails around the ponytail and secure underneath with bobby pins.
-Smooth out any flyaways with a light mist of hairspray.

The Rag Ponytail
How to:
-Using a rat-tail comb, create a center part. Spritz dry hair with a dry texturizing spray, like Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, $22, and use your hands to smooth your hair back.
-Gather your hair in a mid-height ponytail and secure with a thin elastic.
-Tie scraps of tweed, lace, and ribbon around your elastic. To get an even more textured look, braid random pieces of your pony, or crimp small sections for volume.

-Tease the hair in the ponytail to break up curls.
-Finish by wrapping a section of hair around the elastic and securing with a bobby pin.

The Faux Hawk Ponytail
How to:

-Create a loose French braid starting at the crown of the head, working your way back and pulling the braid to loosen it along the way.
-Pin the end of the braid to the back of your head, then gather hair into a ponytail and secure with an elastic.
-Lightly tug pieces of hair in front to loosen the look, and finish with Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Hairspray, $6.46.

The Wrap-Around Ponytail
How to:
-Part dry hair to the side. Then take a small front section of hair from the larger side of the part and begin twisting it around the back, working more hair into the twist as you go.
-When you reach the back of your opposite ear, secure the twist with an elastic.
-Repeat the same twisting motion on the other side until the two twists meet in a low side ponytail.
-Release the first twist from the elastic, then twist both sections together to blend them. Secure with an elastic.
