The Crimped Ponytail
How to:
-Work Ojon Volume Advance Thickening Spray, $24, into wet hair and blow-dry.
-Once hair is dry, protect it with a mist of Tresemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray, $5.49. Then, use a crimper to crimp small sections throughout your hair from top to bottom.
-Pull hair back into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic. To disguise your elastic, wrap a small piece of hair around it and pin in place.

The Laced Ponytail
How to:
-Add loose waves throughout hair with a curling iron. For a messier look, alternate the direction in which you wrap your hair around the iron.
-Apply Redken Powder Grip 03 Texturizing Hair Powder, $15, through hair.
-Pull two strands from either side of your face to the back of your head and tie them in a half-knot. Secure with two mini bobby pins, crisscrossing them through the half-knot.
-Take the two strands from the tail of your knot and crisscross them underneath the ponytail you've created near the nape of your neck. Secure the crisscrossed pieces behind the ponytail with mini alligator clips.
-Gather a bit more hair from underneath to thicken up your two strands before pulling them around the front and tying again.
-Repeat as many times as your length will allow.
-Finish by tugging the hair gently outwards to create a bit more texture. Add another sprinkling of texture powder if desired.

-Repeat, tying a second knot in your hair just like the first. Make sure the second knot is tight against the first.
-Secure the knots together by holding your hair tight underneath the knots and securing them with a small clear elastic, ensuring the elastic is tight against the knots.
-Gently pull the knots to loosen them and emphasize their shape.
-Finish with a coat of Jonathan Product Finish Control High Shine Flexible Hairspray, $22.

The Voluminous Ponytail
How to:
-Part unwashed hair to the side. Take a section from the smaller side of your part and divide it in two, then twist the sections to start a French braid. -Continue your French braid by adding new sections of hair to the top and bottom sections, as you twist.
-Continue this process until you reach the back of your head, then clip off with a duck bill clip.
-Repeat on the other side of your head until you get to the back, and secure this larger braided section with a clear elastic.
-With both sides French braided, release the duck bill clip and gather all of your hair into a ponytail. Secure with an elastic.
-Loosen up the braids for texture, and cover your elastic with an accessory if desired.
