Of course, rose gold hair predates Kylie's recent take on the look — but she's definitely given the color trend a boost in visibility, helping the hue stage an Instagram takeover. It's certainly not hard to see why — after all, rose gold hair color is a universally flattering shade, and there are so many unique ways the trend can be interpreted, be it with a funky peach-toned bob, or with some carefully bayalage-d mermaid waves the color of a sunset. Hairstylist Shelley Gregory explained via Instagram that she achieved this hair color by first using a babylight foil, then toning with a demi-permanent color, and finally, layering on a dilution of Pravana Chromasilk Vivids in pink, $9, mixed with Olaplex No. 2, $30.
Here's another slightly more sedate take on the hair color trend, especially for ladies with naturally dark hair. With a deeper take on the rose gold hue combined with to-die-for waves, this look is about as glam as they come.
