Why it's great: "Even if temporary, I love the way these patches make my skin look around my smile lines after each use. Pricey but worth it!" raves one TotalBeauty.com reviewer. These tiny patches, which should be applied over wrinkled areas, contain hyaluronic acid and peptides. Another review goes so far as to say, "This is the best product I've found for getting rid of wrinkles short of Botox and filler injections." And one more adds that the patches are great to use before special events.

Why it's great: If you're plagued with rough skin, then check out this at-home exfoliator inspired by in-office microdermabrasion treatments. Allow one TotalBeauty.com reviewer to explain: "I usually make my own sugar scrubs to use on my face, because I typically don't like salt scrubs or the way the combination skin on my face feels after using store-bought scrubs. I received samples of this product at a friend's product party, and decided to give it a try. The sugar and salt combination was not overly abrasive on my skin (something I usually find with salt scrubs, and the salt and sugar particles dissolved nicely while scrubbing this product into my skin. Any oils left on my skin were quickly absorbed and didn't leave my skin overly oily throughout the day." Another reviewer notes that she uses this exfoliator on her hands and feet in addition to her face. "It's a great exfoliating product that works wonders on my dry skin in between pedicures," she writes.

Why it's great: One reviewer sums up why this face powder, which comes in three shades, has earned a prime spot in her makeup bag. "Every time I have a rash, breakouts, spots, irritation on my face, I swipe some of this on and within hours, my skin has calmed down tremendously." She adds, "I love the fact that I can build coverage and if it comes down to it, I can actually sleep in this without my skin looking or feeling icky the next day." Not sure of your shade? This reviewer also points out that medium seems to be "a fairly universal color."

Why it's great: Want to treat your delicate under-eye area to a decadent cream? That's exactly how one TotalBeauty.com reviewer describes the feel of this eye cream, which is formulated with peptides and has diffusers that brighten the look of the under-eye area. "I feel like this hydrates my under-eye areas, as well as keeping the puffiness and darkness at bay," she says. (This reviewer does note that it stings a tiny bit when applied.)

Why it's great: "This is the only sunless tanner that I have been able to use. It leaves a nice natural-looking tan -- not orange, yellow or streaky. Also very lightweight, comes out in foam and the bottle lasts forever. I could do my entire body probably over 10 times easily," says one reviewer.

In addition to being oil-free, this self-tanner is chock full of vitamin C and E, which protect skin against damaging free radicals. Just follow one of our reviewer's handy application tips: "I exfoliate and shave in the shower, get out and completely dry off, add a little tiny bit of lotion to my elbows and knees and hands. I let my hands completely absorb the lotion and then use one pump of tanner on my face/neck. Then I grab my tanning mitt and tan my legs, brush over my feet and work my way up from there. Always start with your legs to avoid creases in your tan up top. Legs will usually require an extra application for some reason (I usually go over my legs twice and everything else once)."
