You may have noticed the word "pressed serum" popping up with more and more frequency — from K-beauty brands like Blithe, up-and-coming indie lines like Tula and even mid-range mainstays like Julep. The benefits of pressed serums generally come down to convenience and specific skin concerns that need targeting. Some pressed serums have a rich, balm-like texture that's great for dehydrated skin while others are perfect for travel, since you don't have to worry about spills. Plus, many of them are multi-taskers that also act as moisturizers and/or face oils. Suffice it to say, pressed serums are definitely worth checking out, especially since there are so many great new formulas hitting the market. Keep reading for seven of our favorites.

This pressed serum has an almost bouncy texture, which makes it a lot of fun to use. And though you'll find it intensely hydrating, it also happens to have a velvety finish that looks absolutely lovely on skin.
Packed with an impressive 63% ice plant extract, K-beauty favorite Blithe's take on pressed serum is definitely worth checking out. The cooling ice plant and a blend of oils tackle dry skin without making it greasy — it's actually hydrating enough that it works as a moisturizer too.
This serum is packaged rather like Chapstick, which makes it great for targeted application. The kojic acid in the formula is perfect for dark spots and while it may cost a pretty penny, a little goes a long way.
Here's another multi-use formula that combines serum and moisturizer into one step. It's got lots of skin-loving botanical extracts, such as soothing camellia oil and antioxidant-rich jeju blossom extract, as well as moisturizing ingredients, like sodium hyaluronate and ceramides. On top of that all, it's in twist-up stick form, so it really doesn't get much more convenient.
