If you have dark circles, you know how irritating it is to hear, "You look tired." That's why some of us of us would rather walk out of the house in our bras and underwear than go sans concealer. As a matter of fact, a poll of TotalBeauty.com readers indicates that dark circles are your biggest beauty concern.
Plus, as those with purple-ish under-eye baggage know, choosing the right concealer is key. A heavy matte cream meant to cover blemishes will only call more attention to the area -- and forget about covering them with powder. That's why we were intrigued by Pixi Correction Concentrate -- a highly pigmented, apricot-colored cream concealer formulated to counteract dark circles and smooth fine lines. Can a one-shade product make anyone look like she just woke up from the world's greatest nap? We sent samples of Pixi Correction Concentrate to TotalBeauty.com reviewers to find out.

"Wow, the Pixi Correction Concentrate is great! I use just a little and the coverage is perfect, not too sheer and not too heavy. The consistency is creamier than other under-eye concealers, which I really like because my under-eye area gets pretty dry. The peach tone really cancels out the purple of my under-eye bags. Plus there's an illuminating element that brightens up my eye area. And, at $12, it's a great deal! Love it." --katiehaich
"I've been using it for about a week now to help with the dark circles under my eyes. The color is a good match to my skin. I applied it under my eyes using my finger. I also used a bit of this to cover up some random zits on my chin. It did a great job covering them up and keeping them covered throughout the day." --lauriemac982
"I have dark circles all the way around my eyes. This concealer works very well. I like the color and consistency and it stayed put all day. I did not have any problems with creasing and it blends really well. If you need really heavy coverage then this might not be for you, but I think that most women would be very happy with this, and the price is great since a little bit goes a long way."

"Pixi is right on about their product being a good night's sleep in a jar! The product did smooth fine lines, which [made] me look more youthful! I have bought similar products from high-end department stores that seemed to get chalky over time. I think this product can be used for other ways than mentioned
-- as an eye primer or to conceal minor imperfections. Pixi clearly states they do not test on animals, which has inspired me to buy more products from them! Beauty should be cruelty-free."
