Pregnant Boys
The city of Chicago is hoping to shock teens into using protection with these photos of "pregnant" teenage boys. Their tagline: "Unexpected? Most teen pregnancies are." We definitely did a double take. (Source)

Photoshopped Kids
At first glance, this PSA -- which was designed to bring attention to sugar consumption and childhood obesity -- seems innocuous. But plenty of people are outraged that a healthy little girl was Photoshopped into a chubby one. Did they go too far? (Source)

If this happened to me, I'd never wash my hands in a bar restroom again, although I don't think that's what they're aiming for with the message. This one might be scarier than MINI's "don't make up and drive" ad. (Source)

This PSA aims to help abused children -- and does so in a brilliant way. The ads have a special message that can only be seen by people of a certain height (that of the average 10-year-old). The video explains how it works. (Source)

Public Service Announcements are designed to raise awareness on important issues and spark change. These PSAs definitely win on the "getting our attention" front, but will they inspire change, or just heated debate on their appropriateness? Take a look and weigh in.
