Pale shades of purple and periwinkle are fresh and decadent for spring. For inspiration, we looked to the nails from the Alice + Olivia spring fashion show where a creamy lilac hue was meant to symbolize the opulence of the Palace of Versailles. (Yes, this sounds obnoxiously highbrow and borderline crazy, but the color was gorge.)
This mint green and negative space manicure (spotted at Charlotte Ronson's spring runway show) was incredible. But the pale green color would look just as pretty as a standard mani -- and we love the new green polish options this season.
