Best Actress nominees Sandra Bullock and Amy Adams both stepped out in dark blue, strapless dresses. Coincidence? Either way, Adams's curve-hugging Gucci Premiere version and Bullock's draped Alexander McQueen A-line were equally flattering.

Presenter Anne Hathaway hit the red carpet in a reflective Gucci halter that did a number on the camera flashes coming her way. Hope you had your sunglasses on during the ceremony.

We're sure there was some impressive contouring on the red carpet tonight, but the best blushes we saw were all in dress form. Penelope Cruz was Audrey Hepburn meets Greek goddess in a draped Giambattista Valli dress, Camilla Alves was a vision in a Gabriela Cadena gown and Jada Pinkett-Smith lit up the red carpet in a Versace halter.

Super slick and artfully undone updos reigned over the red carpet, but it was hard to take our eyes off of Maria Menounous's pretty braids. Pin away.

We've already handed out superlatives to Olivia Wilde and Kerry Washington's baby bumps this season, and tonight Elsa Pataky (who is expecting twins!) took the cake. Her husband Chris Hemsworth was dashing as ever, but all eyes were on her and her tummy in a beaded Elie Saab gown.
