Writing tip #2: All about me
Tell about yourself. Do you love karaoke? Have a funny anecdote? What book are you currently reading? Try to stay positive about what you're looking for, negativity is never attractive.

Writing tip #3: Check and double-check
Proofread, proofread, proofread! And then, have your friends proofread. Grammatical errors are easy to make — just ask us; our editors are correcting ours right now (Editor's note: That's true!). But they can be a major turnoff for a lot of people. So go over your profile with a fine-tooth comb for their, they're and there, and your, you're and ur.

Try different apps and sites
This one might seem obvious, but if you're sick of the app and/or site you're on (or if you're not having any luck), switch! There are SO MANY options for you to check out. Happy dating!
