My hair falls flat rather easily, making me a slave to volume sprays. However, even my favorite formulas give me a boost for a few hours and then seem to disappear. Charlotte Tilbury Scent of a Dream, $75, is exactly that -- and so much more. It's a bright, zesty, white floral with pheromone-like base notes of precious woods and amber. I wore it to dinner and complete strangers kept asking me what I was wearing. I'd say Charlotte succeeded.

A Cream for Tech Neck
I look down at my phone all day, and I'm becoming increasingly paranoid about the horizontal creases forming on my neck. Fortunately, I now have a jar of Strivectin TL Advanced Light Tightening Neck Cream, $95, on my desk, and I'm constantly slathering between Instagram scrolls. It contains ingredients like algae, peptides and a niacinamide complex -- all in a light formula that makes application (and reapplication) easy.

I believe in the circulation-boosting benefits of dry brushings for the body (although I wish I had more time to actually do it), so when I heard Aveda was working on a facial dry brush I was intrigued. And the Aveda Tulasara Radiant Facial Dry Brush, $44, doesn't disappoint. It's soft yet firm enough to thoroughly exfoliate and massage. You simply brush the face, neck and chest with gentle upward strokes, and your skin will glow immediately. I may not have time to dry brush my body, but I can definitely manage a mini session for my face.
