The best new beauty products to buy this September range from a dry brush for your face to a spritz that makes your perfume last for days. Start fall right with these new beauty products.

Natural Shampoo for Damaged Hair
I'll have what Jessica Alba is having, and that of course includes her new Honest Beauty Haircare Collection. One of the standouts is the Honest Beauty Beyond Hydrated Shampoo, $22, which looks chic in a hefty chocolate brown bottle, smells like a decadent dessert and leaves hair unbelievably silky, shiny and strengthened. Plus, it's free of sulfates, parabens, silicones -- all the things Jessica (and I) try to avoid.

Multitasking Makeup Stick
There are plenty of eyes-lips-cheeks types of products out there, but finding one that actually looks good everywhere you apply it is a challenge. Often, I end up using one of these multi-purpose sticks just as a blush or a lip color -- and clearly that defeats the point. But Bite Multistick, $24, truly does it all. It comes in 18 shades so it's easy to find one that looks good all over, and while it goes on creamy, it wears like a powder. If you dream of using one magical stick to do all things, it's now a reality.

A Spritz That Makes Your Perfume Last Twice as Long
I have a theory that some people are stickier than others. (Stay with me.) On some, things like lipstick and perfume last all day; on others, they need to be reapplied frequently. If you're a fragrance lover who happens to fall into the latter camp, Fragrancelock, $34, is for you. It's an essential oil-based spray you spritz over your favorite perfume, and it makes the scent last twice as long. I have no idea how this sorcery works (something about creating a mesh on your skin), but it does. I sprayed my favorite perfume on both arms and added a spritz of Fragrance lock on only one side -- at the end of the day, you can guess which arm still smelled delicious (while the other smelled like arm).

Volume for Days
My hair falls flat rather easily, making me a slave to volume sprays. However, even my favorite formulas give me a boost for a few hours and then seem to disappear. Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast, $29, works differently. It's made with expandable spheres that add structure and volume to hair, but it doesn't feel sticky or crunchy -- just like more hair. And if I apply some today, my hair will still have more oomph when I wake up tomorrow -- meaning I no longer feel like a slave to a spray bottle.

Supercharged Face Oil
There are face oils, and then there's Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil, $75. It's a blend of skin-loving botanical oils (chia, tamanu, orchid flower, camellia … the list goes on) that protects skin from pollution, strengthens the skin barrier and provides tons of hydration. It's light yet it leaves skin dewy and incredibly healthy looking, and it's ideal for all skin types. It's destined to be everyone's favorite new face oil.

September is a time of renewal, and renewal basically means shopping. While you're thinking about your fall wardrobe or your kid's school supplies, take a few moments to jot down a beauty shopping list, as well. Trust us, there are some fantastic new beauty launches you'll want to scoop up this month.

Our favorite new beauty products launching this month range from the new natural hair care line from Jessica Alba's Honest Beauty to the first fragrance from celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. There's also a multipurpose cheek stick, an antioxidant face oil and many more.

These new beauty products will have you going back to school (or at least back to work mode) in style.
