8 New Products We're Excited to Buy This November

Whether you're already thinking about the holiday season or simply looking for a new nail polish shade, we've got suggestions for you

Magic Sheets for Magical Hair
I love blotting papers. The minute I see a glimmer of shine on my nose or forehead, I pull one out of its compact little envelope and blot. Now, I can have the same reflex with my hair thanks to Kérastase Carré Lissant Hairstyle Touch-up Sheets, $28. A halo of frizz? Static? An over-dry-shampooed dullness? These sheets cure it all. They're perfectly sized -- somewhere between a blotting paper and a dryer sheet -- and they're scented with grapefruit, rose and a hint of musk. They're also ideal for travel (hands off, TSA!), and they're the first of their kind. I'm anticipating lots of copycats -- just like with blotting papers.

Cucumber in a Tube
If you want to put cucumber slices on your eyes, go for it. They work. Cucumber depuffs, tightens and brightens your eyes in no time. However, I've always found the experience to be kind of slimy and extremely limiting -- just try making breakfast while you've got cucumbers stuck to your face. It's not happening. That's where Korres De-Puffing Cucumber Eye Mask, $16, comes in. It's basically liquefied cucumber in a tube along with calming calendula and chamomile. You apply a thin layer around your eyes and wear it as an eye mask (while you cook, check email … or relax), and when you rinse it off, your eyes look just as refreshed as if you'd used the real thing.

Party in a Palette
The holidays are swiftly approaching (crazy, I know), and that means holiday parties, party dresses and -- my favorite -- holiday makeup. If you want to make it extremely easy on yourself, just buy this one thing: the Shiseido Sparkling Party Palette, $50 -- and wear any old festive frock you've got lying around. There's so much amazingness in this palette, it will completely transform your look. There's a pretty red cream that can be used on cheeks and lips, a super flattering coral blush, champagne highlighter, shimmery gold and brown shadows and an inky blue that's gorgeous as liner. Plus, the jewel-adorned top is truly a stunner -- if only it held a cell phone, it could double as a clutch.

Strand Saver
As I've gotten older, my hair has gotten thinner. And I've become extremely paranoid about hair loss -- as in balding. The average person loses about 100 hairs a day from natural shedding, and while I've never actually counted the hairs in my brush, I've been tempted. So when I heard that Alterna Haircare Caviar Clinical Daily Densifying Foam, $36, could save me up to 1,300 strands a month, I started doing the math (if I lose 3,000 strands a month now, I could save more than a third of those) and started using the foam. It gives my hair body and softness and I think I've already noticed a difference in the amount I'm shedding. It might be all in my head (pun intended), but I'm much less tempted to count the strands in my brush, and that's worth a lot.

The Perfect Popsicle Lip Stain
If you've ever tried to achieve the "sucking on a popsicle" lip look (makeup enthusiasts know what I'm talking about, right?), then you've probably used stains, lipsticks and saturated balms -- only to fall short of the ultimate goal. The result either looks like you're wearing product (which it shouldn't) or it doesn't last through lunch. Meme Time on My Lip in Pink, $12, is the popsicle-lip lip stain we've all been looking for. It's a watery stain in a bright pink shade, and even when it's freshly applied, it looks like it's been there for a while. Naturally, it's imported from Korea -- leave it to those beauty geniuses to finally crack the code.

November can only mean one thing: The holiday season has snuck up on us once again. It seems to happen every year -- am I right?

Fortunately, there are some amazing new beauty products launching this November to help us get through the madness (and the fun). There's a makeup palette that's instant glam, a foam that will have your hair looking bouncy and full, a soothing eye mask for long days (or nights) and so much more.

Whether you're shopping for yourself or getting your gift-buying done early (is it even early at this point?), I know you'll love these suggestions. After all, nothing calms the holiday season panic like some beauty retail therapy.
