An Instant Eye De-puffer You Can Buy in Bulk
Thanks to the Korean beauty explosion, our stores and websites are inundated with sheet masks and eye masks. And while I'm completely on board with this trend, sometimes the single-use packets bum me out. They're not exactly eco-friendly, and while they're great for travel, when I'm at home I prefer a Costco-sized tubs of the products I love.

That's why Patchology FlashPatch Eye Gels, $50, are brilliant. What looks like an unassuming jar of cream is actually a container of 60 eye patches -- and the patches are phenomenal. They're cooling and tingling, with caffeine to de-puff, plus a slew of moisturizing ingredients to plump fine lines and wake up tired eyes. They're perfect pre-makeup before a big event, and you get enough of them that you can use them with abandon. (I'm wearing a pair while I type this.)

For Voluminous, Hydrated Hair
I love volumizing hair products -- I've written about dozens of them over the years -- but I've always harbored a secret fear that they were drying out my hair and scalp. You see, the active ingredient in many volumizing products is alcohol (mousse is the worst offender). While moisturizing ingredients can make hair heavy and flat, alcohol strips it clean, making it light and fluffy.

Until now. Superstar stylist Serge Normant developed volumizing products that are actually loaded with hydrators. Serge Normant Dream Big Shampoo and Conditioner, $25 each, are infused with white lupine protein, which simultaneously volumizes and strengthens hair. They're perfect for anyone with thin or thinning hair, and the packaging couldn't be more gorgeous.

The Body Balm for Zero Stretch Marks
I have approximately 77 pregnant friends, and that means I'll have about 77 baby showers to attend during the next nine months. Instead of ordering wipe warmers off their registries (can you think of anything less glamorous?), I'm giving each mom-to-be a tub of Tata Harper Redefining Body Balm, $110. It's made with palm extract and red algae plus a blend of six butters (like cocoa, shea and murumuru) to moisturize skin and improve elasticity. And of course it's natural, safe for pregnant women and smells like a wildflower field in Vermont. Tata Harper used it during each of her three pregnancies, and she's proud to say she doesn't have a single stretch mark.

Supplements for Longer, Shinier Hair
Mushrooms are my favorite food. (Aside from cookies. And ice cream.) Cremini, Chanterelle, Shiitake … I love them all. So when I heard that Groh Ergo Boost Daily Replenishing Supplements, $39, were basically dried mushrooms in capsule form and they could make my hair grow, I couldn't swallow them fast enough.

The key is ergothioneine, an antioxidant found in certain mushrooms that helps improve skin and scalp from the inside out. It reduces inflammation and creates a calm, well-balanced environment for healthier hair -- allowing it to grow longer and shinier.

I've been taking Groh for about a month, and I'm already noticing a difference -- primarily that less hair falls out in the shower. And even though the capsules don't have a taste, I'm happy knowing I'm adding even more mushrooms to my diet.

Keep Calm and Carry This Balm
Seven years ago, you could open any issue of "Domino" magazine and play a pretty fun game of "find the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' poster." They were ubiquitous. Now, there are countless spins on what was originally a motivational print produced by the British government during World War II. And my favorite are the new Rimmel Keep Calm Lip Balm, $2.50 each. They're incredibly moisturizing, the color is supersheer, the tubes are fun and punchy and that price should make you very calm.

More than one of the products I'm highlighting in the May 2015 list of must-buys has the word "miracle" in its name. Coincidence? I don't think so. These products really are miraculous.

There's a highlighter with anti-aging benefits, a mushroom supplement that helps hair grow longer and stronger and a body balm every pregnant -- or skin-loving -- woman needs to own now. These new beauty products aren't just run-of-the-mill launches -- they're tiny miracles in the shape of lip balm or foundation. And they can all be yours.
