We stalked the runway to find the chicest, trendiest new looks at NYFW, and the verdict is in: elegant, understated nails are replacing over-the-top nail art of yore.

If you love nail art, fear not: It's not dead yet. Manicurists are still having fun with wacky colors and designs (see: the braces-inspired nails at Rachel Antonoff), it's just in a much subtler way. Good news for us, since these nails are way more wearable and require much less time to achieve.
