Step 1: Apply a BB Cream, like Bobbi Brown BB Cream, $44, all over your face with a flat foundation brush. Be sure to blend any streaks. Apply concealer to cover any under-eye darkness.

Step 2: Apply a primer to your eyelid, then use an eye shadow brush to sweep a slightly shimmery beige, like Jouer Powder Eye Shadow, $20, in Praline, over your lid and up to your crease. Also pat a bit into the inner corner of your eye to open them up.

Step 3: Use an angled brush to apply a black gel liner, like Tarte emphasEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner Pot, $24, starting from the inner corner of your eye and extending slightly past the outer corner. Use small strokes to help you get a straight line.

Step 4: Apply two coats of mascara, like Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Falsies, $9.49, to top and bottom lashes.

It's official -- Miley Cyrus "Can't Be Tamed." The 20-year-old proved to be nothing short of a "Wrecking Ball" at this year's VMAs, letting us all know in no subtle way that she's truly "Someone Else" now. Point taken. As much as we'd like to move on from the madness, "We Can't Stop" talking about it (which was exactly Miley's goal).

While no one seems to approve of Miley's over-the-top antics (at least not openly), that's not stopping everyone --including half our staff and our model Stacey -- from wanting to be her for Halloween. In fact, Miley's VMA look promises to be such a popular Halloween costume this year that her famous foam finger is on serious backorder. For that reason alone, we knew we had to recreate what will surely go down as the most controversial moment of 2013. So without further ado, here is our step-by-step guide to stealing Miley's look for Halloween -- teddy bears not required, but definitely recommended.
