The 'Face'
Cherie Corso, Lifestyle Blogger and Entrepreneur

Corso runs a beauty and parenting blog. She makes frequent on-air appearances on programs like "Fox and Friends" and "The Dr. Oz Show," and gives lectures with Fordham University's Center for Entrepreneurship.

Signature look:
"Ultra feminine. Monochromatic clothes: hot pinks and vibrant blues. That's what looks good on TV. You can be a businesswoman, but a feminine look makes you the full package. One thing that transcends all cultures is a pretty woman."

Beauty no-no:
"I never wear overwhelming scents. They make people remember you for the wrong reasons. I like a fresh, clean citrus smell. Right now I'm wearing Jo Malone Nectar Blossom and Burt's Bees Milk & Honey body lotion."

Ultimate advice:
"It's a good idea to have different default settings for how done-up you want to look. I have three settings. One is standard and classic: straight hair, simple makeup and a nice dress. I can do that in 35 minutes. If I want to turn up the heat a little bit, I add false lashes and hot rollers in my hair. That takes about 45 minutes. I do that when I'm in an environment with a lot of women. I find that women really appreciate the extra glamour and will remember you for it. Third setting: In an hour and fifteen minutes, I'm on. I put on a push-up bra, Spanx, everything. I do that when I'm going on the air at "Fox and Friends" or Fox News. They love the Barbie look."

The Industry Veteran
Julia Labaton, owner and President of RED PR

Labaton is a communications strategist with 20 years of experience. She launched her own PR firm in 2000, and it has since become one of the leading boutique lifestyle PR firms with clients from CND to Fendi.

Signature look:
"Clean and simple. Just a little bit of cheek color to look more awake (I use NARS Blush in Lovejoy), then I hide my dark circles (L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets B.B. Cream is my favorite) and top it off with a sheer lip stain (I love L'Oreal's Color Riche Lipsticks, because they're natural)."

Ultimate advice:
"Kate Middleton is the perfect example. She always looks done and fresh, like she's paid attention. That's most important thing in the business world. When you look like you've paid attention to detail with your makeup, it means that you're paying attention to detail in life. It's also a sign of respect."

Beauty no-no:
"I'll have young women come in for job interviews and look like they haven't even brushed their hair. That distracts me from what she's saying in the interview."

Beauty power play:
"My secret for saving time is eyelash extensions. They make you look instantly done. The other thing is gel polish. You don't want to have chipped nails. It looks immature."

The Behind-the-Scenes Powerhouse
Nicole Beckley, Director of Marketing and Media at Merlot Skin Care

Beckley worked for a startup in Silicon Valley before ascending to her high-ranking position at Merlot Skin Care.

Signature look:
"Natural and approachable, but polished. My work tends to be more business-focused, so I try to keep my makeup simple to match the environment. Light foundation, rosy or dark pink lip color, a sweep of mascara and dark brown eyeliner. I have longer hair and tend to wear it down and lightly curled. I'm a big fan of Suave's Sleek Anti-Frizz Cream for giving my hair a little shine and moisture. I've also found that in a time-crunch, a high bun or chignon are hairstyles that look elegant and only take a few minutes to achieve."

Ultimate advice:
"Drinking enough water is essential for bringing out the best in your skin. Especially in a more business-focused setting, too much makeup or heavy foundation can be distracting. A natural healthy complexion goes a long way."

"An mentor of mine told me it was important to always keep your nails looking nice, especially when you know you might be shaking people's hands. In the business space, a classic French manicure or a neutral shade is always a good bet."

Beauty power play:
"Get enough sleep! Seven or eight hours can do wonders for how you look and feel. When we take care of ourselves we show others how much we value ourselves, and we encourage them to value us as well."
