At the New York City premiere of the highly anticipated film adaptation of "Gone Girl," Reese Witherspoon (she produced it!) proved that polished waves and classic makeup never go out of style.

To get Witherspoon's Old Hollywood-inspired curls, stylist Renato Campora created a deep side part and applied L'Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Blow Out HeatSpray and Advanced Hairstyle Boost It Volume Inject Mousse to wet hair. After blowing hair dry with a round brush, Campora created loose waves using a 1 1/2 inch curling iron, and set the hair with Advanced Hairstyle Lock It Weather Control Hairspray once the curls cooled.

For Witherspoon's glowing complexion, makeup artist Mai Quynh started by hydrating the skin with RéVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream. She then applied Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Liquid Foundation to the skin, dotting NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer underneath the eyes and around the nose. For flushed cheeks, Quynh applied Pür Minerals Chateau Cheeks Cream Blush in Flirt, and used Pür Minerals Soul Mattes Eye Shadow Palette on the stars eyes. Quynh also applied mascara to the top lashes only, and YSL Glossy Stain in #102, Corail Mutin, to the lips to finish the look.

Earlier this week, model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley announced her latest project as the celeb ambassador for Moroccanoil's "Inspired by Women" campaign. Huntington-Whiteley sported a fresh haircut and undone waves at the launch of the video series (directed by Bryce Dallas Howard), following six women, celebrating their encouraging stories.

Crediting Moroccanoil for her impossibly shiny hair, Huntington-Whiteley has already mastered the season's cool, wind-blown hairstyle we spotted all over the runway for fall.

To get the look at home, prep hair with Moroccanoil Treatment before blow drying to add shine and texture to the hair. Once dry, run a curling iron through large sections of hair, creating loose waves. Use your fingers to separate the waves, and set with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.

At last night's Teen Choice Awards, "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev took our favorite summer hairstyle -- the messy braid -- and made it even better.

To get the look, hairstylist Riawna Capri sprayed KMS California Freeshape Quick Blow Dry, $19.99, on Dobrev's hair before blowing dry. She then spritzed in KMS California Freeshape 2-in-1 Styling and Finishing Spray, $19.99, before creating beachy waves with a 1-inch curling iron. For added texture, Capri had Dobrev flip her hair over before spraying in KMS California Hairplay Playable Texture, $19.99.

For the braid, Capri separated the hair into three sections, twisting them clockwise, and then braided counter clockwise for more texture. To give it a more undone look, Capri pulled the braid apart with her fingers and let some loose pieces fall to frame Dobrev's face before spraying with KMS California Hairstay Medium Hold Hairspray, $17.99, to lock it in place.

Actress Zoe Kazan opted for a more casual, fun look at last night's New York City premiere of the romantic comedy, "What If." A girl after our own hearts, Kazan decided to forgo an elaborate dress and skyscraper heels in favor of a leather skirt and sneakers -- keeping the focus on her bold red lip color.

Makeup artist Gita Bass worked with Kazan and used Nars Audacious Lipstick in Lana. Dewy skin, full brows and oversized lashes completed the look.

The "Orange Is The New Black" star might have limited options when making her own cosmetics behind bars as Dayanara "Daya" Diaz, but in real life, Dascha Polanco took to Instagram to show us her beauty look of the day.

Polanco opted for a neutral summer look, pairing bronzed skin with soft brown shadows and the perfect matching nude lip with Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer in Nude Eclipse, $5.99.
