The celebrity hairstyles, nails, and makeup we want now

Sarah Hyland's Pop of Color
Sarah Hyland wore side-parted waves and a bright pink lip to the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards.

Makeup artist Mai Quynh applied a Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip to Hyland's nose before starting her makeup. "These strips are awesome for drawing out excess oil and controlling excess shine throughout the day -- perfect for red carpet events," says Quynh.

After removing the strip, Quynh moisturized Sarah's face with Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturizer, primed her skin and applied foundation and blush.

Quynh used two coats of Lancome Grandiose Mascara in Black on Hyland's upper lashes and added Velour Lashes in Whispie Me Away for extra definition.

Still, the lip color remained the focus. Quynh used NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Carthage for a bold, spring-y effect.

Meanwhile, celebrity hairstylist Ryan Richman gave Hyland's new bob tons of texture. He described his process for this style: "Sarah's Michael Kors look was all white and very clean so we decided to do her hair natural and tousled to show off her new short, layered haircut." He used Big Sexy Hair Full Bloom Long-Lasting Thickening and Refreshing Spray to give her hair volume and movement.

Diane Kruger's Modern Take on Retro Waves
Diane Kruger wore side-swept waves and a classic red lip to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party -- proving that sometimes the best Oscars beauty moments happen after the ceremony. To get the look, Adir Abergel worked with Moroccanoil to put a fresh spin on Gatsby-era waves, which worked perfectly with Kruger's Donna Karan Atelier jumpsuit.

Starting on damp hair, Abergel created a deep side part before applying Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse from roots to ends. After rough drying, he used a ½-inch barrel iron on small sections to curl all of Kruger's hair.

The stylist set the curls with Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray and used a boar bristle brush to lightly back comb the crown for volume. Rather than pin the hair into a traditional 1920's faux bob, Abergel left a large section at the front loose and pulled the rest into a low ponytail. After smoothing the hair with a drop of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream, Abergel finished the look by wrapping a small section of the ponytail over the elastic and spraying Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray for extra hold.

Katy Perry's Super Bowl Beauty Breakdown
Seahawks fans might be upset this morning, but we're still giddy over Katy Perry's halftime show … and all four of her over-the-top costumes designed by Jeremy Scott. While we're divided over which look was best, one thing's for sure: Whether she was rocking out with Lenny Kravitz or backing up Missy Elliot, Perry's hair and makeup game was on point.

Naturally, the pop princess turned to CoverGirl for her halftime look, and we have all the details for copying the look at home. Makeup artist Jake Bailey started with CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation in Natural Beige, using truMagic Luminizer on Perry's cheekbones and brow bones to highlight. To create an elongated, glitter cat eye, Bailey applied Perfect CoverGirl Point Plus Eyeliner in Black Onyx before painting a thin layer of glitter adhesive above the black liner and dabbing on a mix of gold and silver glitter. To add warmth to Perry's eye makeup, Bailey chose CoverGirl Eye Shadow Quads in Blooming Blushes, applying the colors according to their corresponding numbers. Two coats of CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom by LashBlast Mascara in Very Black and Pow-der Brow & Liner in Dark Brown (to define brows) rounded out her look.

For bright color, Bailey used CoverGirl Clean Glow Blush in Roses on Perry's cheeks, and focused on the lips, lining them first with Lip Perfection Lip Liner in Hot. For her classic red lip, Bailey used Colorlicious Lipstick in Seduce Scarlet, swiping Colorlicious Lip Lava in Mauva Lava over the top.

For Perry's sleek ponytail, hairstylist Clyde Haygood first used a 2-inch barrel iron to create "S" shaped waves on a Velcro ponytail. On Perry's own hair, Haygood used KMS California Hairstay Styling Gel to give hold and add shine. After attaching the faux ponytail to Perry's hair, Haygood tamed flyaways with KMS Hairplay Gel Wax.

Steal Olivia Munn's Retro Waves
At last night's Los Angeles premiere of "Mortdecai," Olivia Munn paired a sexy, cut-out Ralph Rucci dress with soft, voluminous waves, light pink lips and a bold pop of purple mascara. We're pinning this look for spring makeup inspiration.

Working with Leonor Greyl, hairstylist Christian Marc started by combing Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice through damp hair. After blow drying, Marc used a 1-inch curling iron on the back and middle sections, spraying with Voluforme throughout for more volume. On the front sections, he switched to a 1 ½-inch iron for more relaxed curls.

Marc applied Leonor Greyl Éclat Naturel to the curls then lightly brushed them out with a Mason Pearson and his fingers, spraying with more Voluforme. To add a finishing touch of shine, he used Serum de Soie Sublimateur on the ends.

Reese Witherspoon's Brigitte Bardot-Inspired Beauty
At last night's Critics' Choice Awards, Reese Witherspoon's voluminous waves and neutral makeup won us over for its glam throwback.

To get the look, hair stylist Adir Abergel prepped Witherspoon's damp hair with John Frieda Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray from mid-shaft to ends to create volume. After parting her bangs down the middle, he used a medium round brush to blow the hair dry.

Using a 1-inch curling iron, Abergel loosely curled the hair, leaving the ends out. Then, he sprayed it with John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray to add separation. After teasing the hair at the crown, Abergel used John Frieda Frizz Ease KeraFlex Flexible Hold Hairspray, finishing with John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Créme on the ends for a piecey, textured look.

For Witherspoon's makeup, Molly R. Stern applied Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation, contouring the cheeks with an apricot blush. For a light smoky eye, Stern used Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Matte Eyeshadow in 761 Mirage, and Nars Matte Eyeshadow in Blondie. After lining Witherspoon's upper and lower lash line with Jillian Dempsey Khol Eyeliner in Jet Black, she smudged it out and added two coats of black mascara.

To complete the look, Stern gave Witherspoon a pale pink lip with Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands.
