Dianna Agron Brings Back the Topknot
Dianna Agron is always as big a hit on the red carpet as she was on "Glee," and last night's "Bling Ring" premiere appearance was no exception. Her newly auburn hair was pulled up in a tousled bun -- perfectly chic and ideal for summer. Here's how to get her look:

1. Apply a smoothing serum, such as Redkin Glass 01 Smoothing Serum, $28, to damp hair, then blow dry evenly using a round brush. If you have bangs, let them fall forward naturally.
2. Once your hair is dry, apply a styling gloss (we love Ojon Animated Styling Cream, $24) to the top and back of your hair as you gather it up to a high ponytail. Use a soft brush to smooth the sides as you go. Make sure to leave your bangs and face-framing pieces out as desired.
3. Tease your ponytail ends gently using a fine-toothed comb. Then, wrap the ends around the base of your elastic, forming a loose bun. Secure with bobby pins or a spin pin, such as Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin, $5.99.
4. Finish with a flexible hold hairspray.

Part French, All Fabulous
If the "Twilight" movie phenomenon taught us beauty junkies anything, it's that gorgeous hair is expected of its leading ladies. Kristen Stewart surprised us with trend-worthy, intricate updos and Ashley Greene showed us just how glam tousled waves can be. Nikki Reed showed up with this gorgeous, swept-away braid at the 22nd Annual MuchMusic Video Awards. Steal her style with this step-by-step guide to her voluminous French braided chignon.

1. Apply a texturizing serum, like Frederic Fekkai COIFF Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel, $25, throughout your hair from roots to tips. Scrunch your fingers through your hair to diffuse the product and create texture.
2. Create a deep side part, then separate a 3-inch section of your hair from your part to the top of your ear. Clip the back portion out of the way as necessary.
3. Loosely French braid this section from the part, along the perimeter of your hair, and down to your ear. Once you reach your ear, braid the rest of this hair as usual and clip to the side.
4. Gather the rest of your hair, including the braided section, into a ponytail at the nape of your neck. Tease the ponytail ends gently, and then wrap the ponytail around the base of your elastic to form a bun.
5. Finish by misting with hairspray, like Pantene Pro-V Classic Care Touchable Hairspray, $8.99.

Miranda Kerr's Purrrfect Cat Eye
We doubt you'll ever find any of those scary "celebrities without makeup" shots of Miranda Kerr. Even when she's running mundane errands, the Victoria's Secret Angel is drop-dead gorgeous. (With a little help from her favorite things, of course). Here, Kerr is shopping in a department store in South Korea, and demonstrates just how stunning a simple slash or two (in this case, a subtle cat eye and bold red lip) can be. Here's how to DIY:

1. Apply a sheer tinted moisturizer, such as Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, $42, to clean skin.
2. Sweep a golden, shimmery eyeshadow over the top of your eyelids, then line with a waterproof liquid liner (we love Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner $20). Slightly extend the cat eye outward and up for added drama.
3. Apply a strip of lashes over your top lashes, as close to your lash line as possible. Then, lightly blot a pink cream blush over the apples of your cheeks.
4. Use a nude lip liner, like Ulta Automatic Lip Liner, $13.50, to line and fill in your lips. Apply a long-lasting red lip color (we love Clinique Long Last Lip Color, $15) over your liner until fully blended. Use your finger to remove any residue inside your mouth.
5. Finish with a spritz of makeup setting spray, such as NYX Cosmetics Makeup Setting Spray, $8.

Gloss Meets Glam: Emmy Rossum's Gorgeous Summer Waves
Emmy Rossum is no rookie when it comes to spectacular red carpet style. Whether it was the classic ponytail at the 2012 Oscars or her wildly intricate, braided updo at this year's Met Gala, Emmy wows us across the style spectrum. This gorgeous look from the Critics' Choice Television Awards proves just how easily the actress/singer-songwriter can stoke our beauty envy. We love the long, loose waves coupled with a dramatic side part -- so stylish and sophisticated. Best of all, it's a cinch to do.

1. Apply a leave-in smoothing cream, like Kerastase Lait Nutri-Sculpt Leave-In Smoothing Hair Foundation, $28.99, to damp hair and use a round brush to blow dry it evenly.
2. Create a deep side part. Then, curl 1- to 2-inch sections of your hair using a large barrel curling iron. Clamp each section at the root, then curl under until you reach the ends. Pull the barrel out as the section is curled under, keeping it tight, but letting your hair fall naturally. Repeat with the rest of your hair.
3. Allow your curls to set for about five minutes, then gently brush through with a bristled brush.
4. Apply a glossing serum (we love Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream, $25) to your hair, but avoid the roots. Use a soft brush to smooth it throughout your hair, as needed.
5. Finish with a spritz of hairspray, such as Marc Anthony Pro Finish Ultimate Hold Hairspray, $7.99.

Taylor Swift Is Giving Us the Eye ... and We Kinda Like it
When Taylor Swift finds a style she likes, she sticks with it. Ethereal gowns, blunt-cut bangs, red lips, she knows what works for her. At last night's Country Music Awards, Swift showed off her signature cat eye ... but with a dramatic twist we love. Keep reading to try it yourself:

1. Apply an eyeshadow base, like Lumene Beauty Base Eye Makeup Base, $18.67, over the top of your lids up to your brow. Then smooth on a bronze eyeshadow (we love the one in theBalm Nude 'tude Eyeshadow Palette, $36) over your eyelid up to your crease.
2. Using a brush, dab the outer corners and crease of your eye with a darker shade in the same palette. Then use a blending brush combine the colors so there are no harsh lines.
3. Line your top and lower lash lines using an eyeliner pot, such as Napoleon Perdis Cake Eyeliner, $18. Then, smudge it gently to soften it.
4. Apply a strip of false eyelashes (we love Shu Uemura False Eyelashes Luxe, $23) to your top lash line. Make sure to place them as close to your lash line as possible.
5. Lightly blot a pale pink powder blush over the apples of your cheeks. Finally, finish with a rose lip color, like Pixi Rose Lip Treat, $12.
