Curly Beyond Girlie
Jessica White: Model, actress, owner of bedroom eyes, a megawatt smile and, in this case, a head full of fun summery curls. This look, done for her 29th birthday celebration, is poolside-perfectLong, soft, frizz-free curls with more bounce than a Katey Red show. Yes, please. Here's how to DIY:

1. Apply a frizz-taming mousse, like Samy Curls Constructor Activating Mousse, $4.99, on damp hair from your roots to the ends. Let your hair air dry, naturally.
2. Next, create a deep side part. If you have naturally curly hair, apply a generous amount of curl enhancing cream (we really love Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Hold Smoothie, $9.99) onto even sections of your hair. If your hair is stick-straight, wrap 1/2-inch sections of your hair around a 1/2-inch wide styling wand. Be sure to wrap your hair starting as close to your roots as possible, and work your way down.
3. For either hair type, rub a styling pomade, like Joico Brilliantine Pomade, $11, onto your fingers and smooth it over your hairline and around your side part. Use a soft brush to smooth it down as necessary. Then rub any remaining product onto your hands and distribute evenly throughout the rest of your hair.
4. Finally mist a shine serum, like Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Shine Spray, $23, all over your hair, scrunching it throughout with your fingers.

Tousled, Blonde, Cropped
Belle of the ballroom Julianne Hough knocks us out on "Dancing with the Stars," but her ever-changing, style-setting looks keep us on our toes. The style we're loving today: Her sexy, tousled hair for the "Lone Ranger" premiere paired with a searing smoky eye. She makes a mid-length bob chic and, with our help, it's easily do-able. Get it now in five quick steps:

1. Apply a texturizing mousse, like L'Oréal Paris EverStyle Alcohol-Free Volume Boosting Mousse, $5.97, on damp hair from your roots to the ends. Blow dry straight using a vented brush.
2. Next, create a deep side part. Begin wrapping 1-inch sections of your hair around a medium-sized styling wand. Be sure to wrap your hair only one to two times around the barrel, leaving the very ends of your hair straight.
3. Rub a styling pomade (we love Joico Brilliantine Pomade, $11) onto your fingers and rake through your waves as you separate and loosen them. Tease at your roots for added volume. Use a flat iron to smooth the front pieces and the ends of your hair as necessary.
4. Smooth the side with less hair back and behind your ear. Mist a shine serum, like L'Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Multi-Restorative Dry Oil, $6.59, over your hair. Use your fingers to tousle.
5. Finish with a flexible-hold hairspray.

Emily VanCamp's Dramatically Different Makeup
In her role on the TV drama "Revenge," Emily VanCamp is on a mission to avenge her father's death. From a beauty angle, the actress combines class with a wicked edge -- only fitting for such a mischievous character. This look from the Dramatically Different Party last night is a great example. If you want to add some definition and color to your makeup routine, keep reading to see how to DIY:

1. Apply a mattifying foundation all over your face, like Shiseido The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation SP 17, $38.50.

Beth Behr's Scene-Stealing Look
Beth Behrs plays a blonde 20-something who goes from riches to rags on "2 Broke Girls," a sitcom so funny we've had to swear off all liquids while watching it for fear of drowning by snort-laughing. Behrs may go for broke in laughs, but her traffic-stopping look for the Monsters University premiere last night is no joke. We love her romantic fishtail braid and natural makeup. Here's how to get both:

The Braid
1. On unwashed hair, apply a frizz taming serum, like Frizz-Ease Hair Serum, $5.99, from roots to tips. If you have bangs, style as desired.
2. Part your hair directly down the center. Clip one section over to the side. Start braiding two even fishtails on the clipped side. Be sure you angle your hair toward the front of your head. This ensures you'll avoid bumps when you pull the braids to the front.
3. Once you've created two braids on one side, gently tug the braids to loosen and widen. Pull the braids over the roots of your bangs, then secure using bobby pins.
4. Create two more braids on the opposite side of your head. Once you've braided to the ends, overlap the braids on top of the first set. Secure the ends with several bobby pins.
5. Finish with hairspray, like Umberto Regular Hold Hairspray, $39.76.

The Makeup
1. Apply a tinted moisturizer all over your face, like mark Get a Tint Tinted Moisturizer Lotion SPF 15, $12.
2. Next, use an eye-priming base (we love Colorevolution Mineral Eye Primer, $25.95) over the top of your eyelids. Next, dab a cream-based eyeshadow in a rose-gold shade, like Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow, $19, up to your crease.
3. Sweep a little of the same cream eyeshadow under your lower eyelashes. Use black eyeliner to line your upper lash line.
4. Layer a black, volumizing mascara over your top and bottom lashes. Blot a shimmery blush (we love Lancome Blush Subtil Shimmer, $30, over the apples of your cheeks.
5. Finish with a nude lip gloss, like Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss, $24.

Dianna Agron Brings Back the Topknot
Dianna Agron is always as big a hit on the red carpet as she was on "Glee," and last night's "Bling Ring" premiere appearance was no exception. Her newly auburn hair was pulled up in a tousled bun -- perfectly chic and ideal for summer. Here's how to get her look:

1. Apply a smoothing serum, such as Redkin Glass 01 Smoothing Serum, $28, to damp hair, then blow dry evenly using a round brush. If you have bangs, let them fall forward naturally.
2. Once your hair is dry, apply a styling gloss (we love Ojon Animated Styling Cream, $24) to the top and back of your hair as you gather it up to a high ponytail. Use a soft brush to smooth the sides as you go. Make sure to leave your bangs and face-framing pieces out as desired.
3. Tease your ponytail ends gently using a fine-toothed comb. Then, wrap the ends around the base of your elastic, forming a loose bun. Secure with bobby pins or a spin pin, such as Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin, $5.99.
4. Finish with a flexible hold hairspray.
