Gina Rodriguez
For "Jane the Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez, red carpet beauty starts the night before with a hydrating mask. She recommends Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask, $34.50; "It's like a big drink of water for my face -- and I wake up to an incredible glow," she told People Style. She then starts the day with Clinique's 3-Step System, $47, which includes a cleanser, exfoliator and moisturizer, all customizable to your skin type.

Even more relatable? Rodriguez just started using eye cream. "My mom recently told me, 'Don't wait until you're older to start [using] eye treatments.' I'd never really thought about it, in all honesty, so I was like, 'Okay, Mom. For sure.' But she's right," she said. Now, she looks well-rested for the cameras with a little help from Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream, $26.50.

Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff spent her teenage years in the spotlight, so you know she knows exactly how to treat her skin. Makeup artist Etienne Ortega shares how he preps Duff for a big day on the red carpet: "The day of, I usually start with a light exfoliation and then multi-mask," he says. Ortega recommends a "clay-based mask on the T-zone area to soak up any excess oils" and a hydrating mask like Perricone MD Hyalo Plasma Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Moisturizer , $135, on the rest of the face. Then he follows up with a rose water spray like Pearlessence Rose Water Face Mist, $20, for toner before applying a soothing serum and moisturizer.

Keke Palmer
Once all that makeup is applied, it's a makeup artist's job to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. "As a celebrity makeup artist, a big concern with on-camera makeup is making sure that the skin isn't too shiny," Eugene Williams told Today. For clients like Keke Palmer, he turns to Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray, $31, which will keep even the sharpest contours in place for hours under the harsh lights of the red carpet (or when you're taking a particularly challenging selfie with your LuMee case.)

Jada Pinkett Smith
Good skin starts with a healthy cleansing, and celebrity makeup artist Steven Aturo makes sure his clients have the perfect foundation for makeup. He prepped Jada Pinkett Smith to present at the People's Choice Awards using Dermalogica products before applying a whole host of glow-making cosmetics by Smashbox and Urban Decay.

Bonus: Mindy Kaling also swears by the brand's Precleanse, $40, to remove makeup.
