We Took the New Harry Josh Dryer for a Spin. Here's What You Need to Know

It makes a lot of promises, but does it keep them?

Promise No. 3: It Can Create Sleek Shine or Intense Volume With the Switch of a Button
Reality: First off, let's go over what this means. Your hot tool will instantaneously transform your strands into a Victoria's Secret Angel-worthy mane or into 2017's favorite super sleek strands lewk. All thanks to the negative ion technology that you can switch on or off. Sounds amazing, sure.

Here's the catch though, while switching between modes certainly makes a difference, we can't say that it's really that major of a selling point. Perhaps in the hands of a more capable professional, the feature would be worth all that extra dough. So there is a chance that we could've gotten better results had we paired the technique with a special hair product cocktail. Who knows? Well, Harry Josh, probably.

Is It Really Worth the Price Tag?
Let's retrace our steps, shall we? We love the design, our arms love the weight, and we couldn't be more enamored with the mint-green color to add a little personality to our vanities. What's more, it really does dry hair faster than anything we've tried thus far, albeit still relatively noisily.

While we feel head over heels for the gorgeous design and truly unbeatable performance, it's probably not for everyone (just, you know, most beauty-obsessives).

The Harry Josh Pro Tools Ultra Light Pro Dryer goes on sale October 23 at Dermstore.com, and retails for $349.
