Put the bleach down, girl
"This fall, we're putting away our sun bleached color until spring 2023 and embracing the natural elements and colors of many people's favorite season. With that in mind, we'll be seeing the bright washed out color from summertime turn warmer with more golden blonde, caramel highlights and rich golden copper tones as our top trends. We'll also see more vibrant and warm runs, as well as brunettes getting pops of chestnut and auburn that will carry them through the holidays." — Allison Gandolfo, designer colorist at Zahir Ziani Salon.

Bob is always there for us
"The bob hairstyle is still very much on trend this fall, but with many new variations — length, shape, volume and styling. You can either go shorter with a soft line at jaw length or drop the length to the shoulder. This hairstyle is timeless and great for thicker hair. The versatile styling of a bob always keeps it interesting." — Adriana Papaleo, master stylist at Rob Peetoom Williamsburg.

Make it warm
"When the weather turns colder during fall we always fall back into warmer shades for hair color. This year the warmer, richer tones, like caramels and reddish, warm auburns are going to be really big. Remember Kendall Jenner's red hair earlier this year? This is what we're going to see a lot more of for brunettes." — Emily Claire, master colorist at Rob Peetoom Williamsburg.

Chop away
"I think we're going to see big chops this fall. A lot of clients have been loving their long hair all summer and I think everyone is ready for a change! I think we'll see more shoulder grazing haircuts with interior layers for movement or mid length cuts. A lot of face framing is big right now too. Short hair is fun and playful, it's versatile and can require less styling depending on your hair texture. And summer can be tough on your hair, so fall is the perfect time for doing a big chop and getting your hair back in good condition." — Alessandra Bruno, stylist at Fekkai.
