At Narciso Rodriguez, the effect was sweeter and more romantic. Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page started with a pale pink base and then added copper (Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color, $25, in Sunshower) for a flattering finish.

Anything goes in the makeup world these days, and special attention should be showered on anyone who comes up with a look that's truly original. Utilizing bold colors and cool techniques, these shows did exactly that.
