Finding a Microblading Pro
Before you book a brow appointment, you'll want to do your research. Check out the professional's website, Facebook page and Instagram account to see before and after photos. If their style isn't your style -- i.e. you want minimal and they do bold -- keep looking. And, as with all cosmetic treatments, be wary of deals. "Personally, I would steer clear of Groupons as they are usually offered by artists that are just starting out in the business," says Kernahan. "That's not to say that it's a bad thing; however, you want to do your homework and see what kind of training, certification, and artistic skills that person has." She also suggests looking for proper health department licensing and whether the artist is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.

While the cost of microblading varies by city, you can expect to pay $600 to $1,200 for the eyebrow tattoo treatment. When you consider all the time you'll save not filling in your brows every morning, that figure starts to seem like a reasonable investment.
