Here's How to Recover From an Eyebrow Disaster

Over-plucked again? Why don't you put those tweezers down.

Let castor oil be your friend

It's no secret that castor oil can help aid hair growth. So, use it as an eyebrow serum while you waiting for your brows to grow. Castor oil will encourage your hair to grow longer and stronger. It also acts as a moisturizer and anti-fungal agent, which reduces the possibilities of acne in your brow area.

Try: Pure Acres Farm Pure Castor Oil, $12.75

Keep it clean

You're going to want to keep your eyebrows as clean and happy as possible following your eyebrow disaster, so be sure to cleanse thoroughly every night. After all, you don't want any makeup or grime to hinder your brow's growth (or worse, contribute to shedding and fall-out!).

Try: Simple Water Boost Micellar Make-up Remover Eye Pads, $8.90

Fill-in the over-plucked spots

To cover up the eyebrow accident, use powder, a fine pencil or even a brow pen to fill in any gaps. First, create an outline to create the shape that you want. Then, draw hair-like strokes on the over-plucked areas. Make sure to keep it natural-looking so it won't be too obvious that you're hiding something. Finish with an eyebrow gel so it won't fade as you go through your day. We recommend a brow kit like the Glossier Brow Flick + Boy Brow Duo, $30, for an extra natural look.
