Cropped hair, sleek styles and rose lips dominated the Emmys beauty scene

All About That Volume
We are so into the '70s sexpot vibe Christina Hendricks brought to the Emmys. Her voluminous, strawberry blonde hair is the stuff our hair dreams are made of. And is that another rosy lipstick we spy? Her makeup was done by Vanessa Scali for Sephora Collection, who used a blend of Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Always Red and Blackberry Sorbet.

A Study in Contrast
Celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta for Temptu used Temptu Color True Lipstick in Imperial Red to complement her rosy cheeks (courtesy of Temptu Airpod Blush in Washed Rose) and to add contrast to her dress.

To get her hair supershiny before the event, celebrity hair colorist Denis de Souza for Joico used the brand's new LumiShine color to give her hair major shine boost. He took her color a little bit lighter using babylights (aka ultra fine highlights).

Edgy Glam
Plenty of black liner, a matte face and rose-nude lipstick (yes, rose lipstick is definitely a trend this fall) would look amazing with any hairstyle, but we like the Jaimie Alexander went for a sleek, wet-look bob that gave it some edge.

We spend a lot of time binge-watching television on Netflix, and we have a lot of feels about our favorite shows (especially ones that recently ended -- we're looking at you, "Mad Men" and "Parks and Rec"). Needless to say, we're down with an award show that celebrates the best of the best in television. This year, celebrities killed it on the Emmys red carpet. From Lady Gaga to Sarah Hyland to Taraji P. Henson, here are our favorite hair and makeup looks from the 2015 Emmys.
