Holiday Makeup Look: Old Hollywood Glamour
If understated elegance is your M.O., take things up a notch with a vivacious red lip and expertly lined eyes.

A.M. Prep: Managing editor Mary keeps her daytime makeup simple with BB cream, concealer, blush and mascara, but adds a hint of sparkle to her eyes with a swipe of shimmery champagne shadow from lid to crease. Here, she wears a warm taupe from Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette The Dolce Vita Colour-Coded Eyeshadows, $52.

P.M. Panache: The easiest way to draw attention to the eyes and frame your face: create full, feathered brows. Use a spoolie to brush hairs down, then use an eyebrow pencil to build color in the direction your brows grow, using small, hair-like strokes. (Rodriguez likes the Urban Decay Brow Beater, $20, in Neutral Brown for its ultra precise point.) Brush brows up with the spoolie to ID any sparse areas that still need to be filled in. Set the look with a clear brow gel.

Next, line eyes from inner to outer corner with a long-lasting pencil or liquid liner. Here, Rodriguez uses Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil, $20, in Zero, a superblack waterproof liner that will not budge.

The last step: A classic red lip that stays on all night long (no matter how many glasses of bubbly you have). Rodriguez uses Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil, $20, in shade 69, a true, classic red, to fill in Mary's lips. Pro tip: Fill in the center of your lips first. When you line the sides of your lips, always apply from the bottom up so you don't accidentally cut off any of your lip. Using a lip brush, top it with a sheer red lipstick or gloss to create a gorgeous, meet-me-under-the-mistletoe look.

Holiday Makeup Look: Mermaid Eyelids
Turn a classic beauty look coquettish with iridescent eyelids. The unexpected pop of teal gives an otherwise buttoned-up look a fun, flirty feel.

A.M. Prep: When you're going to be out all day and night, primer and a long-wear foundation are key. Jill's go-to: Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer, $36, and Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation, $43. Likewise, choose an intensely pigmented all-day blush. Finish with a red lip. Here, Jill wears Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick, &7.99, in All Fired Up. Set with loose powder and a makeup setting spray.

P.M. Panache: Apply a thick line of shimmery teal eye pencil along the lash line. Here, Rodriguez uses Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil, $20, in Deep End. With a smudge brush, work it over the entire eyelid to create an eye shadow-esque look. To get a nice gradation of color, apply more liner at the lash line.

Finally, for a pop of holiday sparkle, tap iridescent blue-green shadow on the center of each eyelid. Pro tip: For a more intense look, dab your finger in water before dipping it into the eye shadow. To get the look here, use Urban Decay Moondust Eye Shadow, $21, in Zodiac, a smoky black shadow with blue-green shimmer.

Holiday Makeup Look: A Fun Twist on Smoky Eyes
Give daytime color a sexy spin with this reverse smoky eye. Rodriguez calls this look "party on the bottom."

A.M. Prep: Assistant Editor Amanda's go-to look: bright coral lips with matching blush. Here, she wears Camp Cosmetics Lipstick in Candid Candace with Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-hour Blush, $26, in How Deep Is Your Love. For her eyes, she applied a bronze BareMinerals eye shadow from the Ready 8.0 Palette, and lined her eyes with L'Oréal Paris Infallible Smokissime, $9.99, in Brown Smoke.

P.M. Panache: Apply a long-wearing purple eye pencil with a hint of shimmer to your lower lash line (Rodriguez used the 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil, $20, in Vice). Smudge it out with a metallic fuchsia shadow. Waterline your lower lash line -- Rodriguez recommends Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil, $20, in Legend because it's a black waterproof liner designed specifically for the waterline -- and top it off with a few extra coats of mascara. Now, you're ready to smolder when you accidentally-on-purpose end up under the mistletoe with your office crush.

Holiday Makeup Look: Playful Purple Lips
If daytime drama's your thing, combine a smoky eye with a bold statement lip for an all-out bombshell effect come nighttime. Berry lipstick, a classic holiday lip color, is infinitely more fun when done in a glossy, purple shade.

A.M. Prep: Show up to work looking like a boss with this daytime smoky eye. Here, Jess uses Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, $54, to create her look. First, apply Combust (a matte taupe) into your crease, then layer Whiskey (a matte brown) over it in the outer corners of your eyes. Build up the lid with three metallic gold shades, and smoke out the look by applying Whiskey to the lash line.

P.M. Panache: Skip the nude lip and go for a bold purple lipstick instead. You only need two products: A long-wear lip pencil and gloss. Line your lips, starting at the center and working your way out. Fill in your lips with the liner as well. Then, top it off with a matching purple lip gloss. Rodriguez uses 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil in Bittersweet and Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss, $22, in Bittersweet for Jessica's look.

Holiday Makeup Look: Sparkly Cat Eye
Turn a no-makeup look festive with a playful, glittery cat eye that is classy, sexy and sparkly.

A.M. Prep: Hit snooze repeatedly. Roll out of bed, swipe on some lip color (here, Rose is wearing Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick, $8.49, in Rich Raisin) and a bit of blush, then head out the door, sleep in your eyes and coffee in hand.

P.M. Panache: Even out your complexion with a bit of concealer. Add highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones to give your skin a glow. Next, use a bronze liner to create a cat eye -- feel free to go as subtle or bold as you desire. Trace over your cat eye with a beige glitter eyeliner. Rodriguez uses Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner, $20, in Midnight Cowboy -- a gel that comes with a small brush, so you don't have to worry about fallout.

Next, use a lash primer and mascara to give yourself a false lash look (without the annoyance of actually having to apply false lashes). Top off your look with a hint of rosy lip color. Here, Rose wears Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss, $22, in Failbait.
