A Stellar Moisturizer With Gorgeous Packaging
The Country: Korea

The Product: The Lotus Essence Lotion

The Reason: Believe it or not, this hydrating, anti-aging, rough-skin fixer is water free -- instead, skin is moisturized with 70 percent lotus extract.

"The Lotus uses only lotus extract from a pristine mountain temple in the Jeju Islands of Korea," Lee and Chang say. "Lotus is a powerful antioxidant and also incredibly resilient - seeds have been known to germinate after lying dormant for centuries." (And, the lotus images on the bottle were drawn by an artist in residence at the Buphwa temple in Jeju Island.)

Bath Salts to Help You Find Your Happy Place
The Country: France

The Product: Durance Bath Salts Fresh Verbena

The Reason: Verbena is an herb that you can drink at night to help you sleep -- Fournier says these bath salts have a similar calming effect. If she has enough space in her (admittedly) packed-with-beauty-products suitcase, she'll nab a tub of this bath salt. If not, she'll have someone send it over to her.

The smell is "divine," and when she takes a bath with this she says she thinks she's in heaven -- she simply feels happy.

A Nourishing Balm From Down Under
The Country: Australia

The Product: Healthy Care Pawpaw Balm

The Reason: Bass loves this petroleum-free balm because it contains a safe-to-use-anywhere, moisturizing blend of shea butter, jojoba and macadamia oil. "I even use it on pimples and dry cuticles -- and my son loves it," she raves. Pawpaw, incidentally, refers to the papaya fruit extract in the product, not the cute little paws of Koala bears (as this writer wrongfully assumed).

A Magical Bruise-Eraser
The Country: Great Britain

The Product: Reparil Gel

The Reason: Though this may not be the most glamorous souvenir, if you bruise easily you'll wonder how you survived without it all your life. (Covering up mottled, purple, tender skin -- darn you, coffee table -- is incredibly frustrating.)

Fusco swears by this gel, which she says speeds up the resolution of her bruises. It contains aescin, which is extracted from horse chestnuts and helps ease inflammation, swelling and pain.

The Country: Japan

The Product: Dolly Wink False Lashes

The Reason: False lashes are amazing -- they can pump up the volume on wimpy, wispy lashes and make eyes look super bright and defined. These lashes from Japan, however, are the ones that will convince you to try them on your bottom lash line.

"The Japanese really know how to have fun with their eyelashes," says Bass. "I am particularly obsessed with the bottom lash strips. They really open up the eyes and look completely natural." (Yep, we'll be on the next flight to Tokyo, too.)
