A slam dunk by ESPN
You only thought you didn't want to see a 77-year-old golfer completely naked. In fact, you do. ESPN the Magazine's Body Issue features more than a dozen top athletes au natural, and you will not be able to resist clicking and re-clicking. What could've been a gratuitous or trite display of T & A (hello, Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue) is actually an eye-popping reminder that raw strength and grace are not mutually exclusive. In a word: gorgeous.

Gary Player
At 77 years old, the golfer and three-time Masters champion is the oldest athlete to ever pose for the ESPN Body Issue. Regarding his fitness, Player tells ESPN, "I used to do 1,000 sit-ups a day; now I'm up to 1,200."

The Scottish golfer shows one of her five tattoos in her photo. It's a quote by Shakespeare that reads, "It is not the stars to hold our destiny, but it is ourselves." In the interview, she also tells ESPN, "This will probably be the first time my father finds out about my tattoos."

The two-time Olympian looks stunning on the slopes. (We can't help but shiver at the thought of how cold that photo shoot must've been, though.)

Matthew Harvey
Mets pitcher Matt Harvey takes a more comical approach. When asked what he likes about his body, Harvey said, "I've always been interested in my body and my health. I eat healthy; I don't eat gluten. Anything I can do performance-wise and health-wise, I'm definitely doing."
