"To finish my smoky eye I applied my burgundy/purple mix to the outer half of my eyelid, smudging it out with my brush."

"And of course you can't finish a smoky eye without mascara! I used Pixi Large Lash Mascara, $18. It defined my lashes and made sure they still stood out from my purple shadow."

"To wrap up my office look, I used a mauve lip gloss from the NP Set Gorgeous-To-Go Palette, $27, (you can see how else we used this palette here). I think it's a good weekday look, there's some color but it's not too over the top."

"There's no way I'm going into work with a bare face, so I started with NP Set It Takes Two Concealer and Foundation Pot, $35. It's handy, since this one container has foundation, concealer, and even a highlighter too.

"I used the peach highlighter in the pullout drawer on the bridge of my nose, browbone, and just above my cheekbones. It added a nice glow to my face without being too shimmery or glittery."

"I opted for shades of brown for my eyes today. It's a way to give them some definition without going too crazy for the office. I started with the light brown shade all over my eyelid, browbone, and the inner corner of my eye."

"Next I used a slightly darker brown shade. I applied it on my lid along my lashline, then blended it upward toward my crease so it covered my lid but wasn't too dark."
