"To finish my eyes I used Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Cafe Gold, $15, all around my eyes, in my inner and outer rims. I think this pencil worked well with the gold shadow I applied earlier. Then I applied a little NP Set Glamorista Mascara, $16, to my lashes."

"I opted to keep my lips in the pink family as well so they wouldn't clash with my eye look. I used the pink lip gloss in the palette, which is a bright (but not too bright!) rosy hue.
"It's not easy to create a makeup look that's both dressy and suitable for an afternoon event but I think I've nailed it. I can't wait to go to my friend's wedding!"
