Shampoo and Conditioner That Nourish While You Wash
Celebrity hairstylist Tara Smith crafted her line of hair care products with a commitment to ingredients that are not only vegan but cruelty-free, organic and non-toxic. We fell in love with her ultra-nourishing Feed the Root Shampoo, $16, and Conditioner, $16, which create a surprising tingling sensation as you wash, and feel amazing on dry scalp.

We also can't get over the crazy birds on the packaging, which Smith champions as her earth-friendly mascots.

Gentle, Vegan Cleanser That Purifies and Hydrates
Fiafini is an anti-aging skincare line that uses marula oil (think: Moroccan hair oil for your skin), which contains powerful antioxidants, keeping skin balanced and hydrated. The brand's Delicate Cleansing Emulsion, $28, is an all-natural facial cleanser that gently rinses away dirt and makeup, leaving skin clean, smooth and hydrated. The texture is creamy yet lightweight -- ideal for many different skin types. The fact that it's vegan and cruelty-free is just the cherry on top.

Vegan Dry Shampoo That Revives Dirty Hair
Those of us who can't be bothered with daily hair washes (all Total Beauty hands raised) have become quite the dry shampoo connoisseurs. And vegan or not, Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, $22, is stuff to swear by.

We try to avoid inhaling our dry shampoo when we can, so we love that Amika's formula contains rice starch in place of talc, aluminum or sodium chloride to sop up oil and give you some much needed volume. The product also contains obliphica oil (from the sea buckthorn berry) which moisturizes, smooths split ends and leaves your hair supershiny. The packaging is adorable (especially the travel size), and the product is both cruelty-free and vegan.

Toning Mist for a Hydrating Pick-Me-Up
Toner is a skin-care junkie's secret pleasure, and right now we are living for the organic, plant-based Face Toner, $24, from small-batch vegan beauty brand Meow Meow Tweet. Packaging does not get cuter -- whimsical sketches of kittens, squirrels and other fuzzy friends decorate each of Meow Meow Tweet's eco-friendly bottles.

We love the formula just as much. Mist this stuff all over your face after cleansing -- morning, night or both -- and you'll be left with soft, refreshed skin that smells unreal. Whether you're new to face mists or consider yourself a veritable toner buff, this vegan product is a gem.

Organic, Vegan Facial Scrub That's Plastic-Free
Thesis is an all-natural, organic, vegan and eco-friendly skin-care company that even the most stalwart of tree huggers would give their nod of approval. The brand's reasonably priced products are decadently packaged, swathed in antiquey (100 percent recycled) paper. Each product is packed with organic ingredients that both feel and smell incredible -- we're talking pure lavender, rosemary, orange peel and other earthy goodness.

The gentle Poppy Seed Face Scrub, $22.95, is an ideal alternative to harsh exfoliators filled with plastic beads. It comes in powder form, which you combine with water to create an invigorating, yet non-abrasive mix that makes your face smell like muffins.

Also try the brand's Facial Serum Lullaby for Dry Skin, $19.99, which boasts a blend of luxe-smelling oils that we want to bathe in forever.
