I want my lashes to look full but defined -- I am not a fan of clumps. And that's exactly why the new CoverGirl Total Tease Mascara, $9, comes with a tiny teasing comb on the end of the brush. After applying the product to make lashes look thick, dark and long, you go back in with the miniature comb and separate each and every lash. (It's basically the safety pin trick but a lot less scary.)

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but my brushes are disgusting. Hair and product builds up, and then cleaning them becomes an insurmountable task. That is, until I brought home the Sephora Brush Meets Comb Hair Brush Cleaner, $10. This little rake pulls everything off a brush in a matter of seconds, making the process infinitely more bearable.

Ah, boosters -- an extra skin care step obsessives like me can't get enough of. Apply one after your essence but before your serum for even more skin glowifying magic. The Eve Lom Time Retreat Radiance Boost Treatment, $95, is a serious powerhouse. It contains alpha hydroxy acids, encapsulated retinol, a barrier repair complex, larch tree bark extract for exfoliation, pink grapefruit extract for brightening, calendula for soothing, vitamin E for antioxidant protection -- the list goes on, believe it or not. In fact, it's packed with so much goodness, it will do amazing things for your skin even if you use nothing else. But what fun would that be?

When you watch makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic apply foundation, you can't help but want to copy him exactly. So when I recently saw him wielding the new Clarisonic Foundation Brush, $35, I had to try it. You attach the soft, luxe brush head to your regular Clarisonic, and go to town blending and buffing. The sonic vibrations help foundation look diffused and decidedly skin-like -- like having Mario in your bathroom.

The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day In-Shower Styler, $24, is an interesting product for a couple of reasons. First, you apply it in the shower, as the name suggests, after shampooing and conditioning, and then you rinse it out for a few seconds. (I rinsed for about half as long as I rinse my conditioner.) Then, you do nothing. It's designed to help straight or wavy hair air dry with more definition and texture and less frizz. While my hair is unevenly curly and requires some heat intervention no matter what, this product still did a ton to fight fluff and flyaways. If you have straighter hair, consider your summer styling issues solved.
