I've been lucky enough to spend some time with Wende Zomnir, the founder of Urban Decay. And let me tell you, Zomnir is everything you want her to be: laidback, cool, quintessentially California, enviably fit, and always wearing a full face of fun, colorful makeup. If you were to bottle all those qualities into a scent -- as I've wished I could do on more than one occasion -- you'd get Urban Decay Go Naked Perfume Oil, $24, the brand's new limited edition roll-on. It's zesty with a hint of ocean air and a splash of jasmine -- just like Zomnir.

Essential Essence
An essence often feels like a superfluous step -- something I splash on after washing my face just because it's there. But Caudalie Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence, $42, is so much more. It's made with organic grape water to soothe and hydrate, and it also contains glycolic acid to gently exfoliate away dead skin cells. I noticed a difference in my skin the very next morning after using it -- not so superfluous after all.

Anti-Wrinkle Glasses
If, like me, you squint at the computer and find yourself with a dull headache at the end of a long day of screen time, then you should get yourself a pair of Felix Gray Glasses, $95. They filter out blue light and glare to reduce eyestrain and squinting. And less squinting means fewer wrinkles -- which is why I consider these a beauty product.
July is a lazy, steamy month. It kicks off with the Fourth of July holiday and then melts right into August. We're all living for the weekend this time of year -- and all the beauty product shopping and playing that comes along with a little extra time off. Fortunately, the best new beauty products launching in July are right on trend. There's a stellar new SPF, a makeup kit that's perfect for travel, a lightweight hydrator that's ideal for sticky weather -- and so much more to make your summer the best one yet.
