Smart Vitamin C
According to dozens of dermatologists I've talked to over the years, vitamin C serum is almost as important as sunscreen. And Beauty Rx Triple Vitamin C Serum, $95, is my new favorite. It's superpotent -- you can practically feel it working -- and it won't oxidize as quickly as serums that come in droppers. Plus, the creator, dermatologist Neal Schultz, MD, is utterly charming and completely convincing.

Cucumber Micellar
Micellar waters are a big beauty trend, but for some reason I wasn't convinced. They're not quite a toner, not quite a cleanser, and I certainly don't need another step in my routine. Then, I came across the Yes to Cucumbers Micellar, $3.99, which is a calming, refreshing, cucumber-infused delight. (It's more like a summer cocktail than a face wash.) I've been using it as a pre-cleanse to remove my makeup, and my skin has never looked so refreshed.

I Heart This Fragrance
I tend to gravitate towards dark, moody fragrances, but now and then, circumstances call for something lighter. (Not to mention that my husband would prefer if I didn't smell like a fireplace all the time.) Vera Wang Princess of Hearts, $60, is that perfect-for-date-night (Valentine's Day, anyone?) bright, sweet perfume. It's a sheer floral, but also has notes of strawberry, watermelon and vanilla -- just like dessert.

Perfect Cream Blush
If, like me, you're a cream blush devotee, then Cle de Peau Beaute Cream Blush, $60, is going to be your new favorite. The payoff is sheer but not too sheer, the color lasts all day, and the shades are seriously stunning.

Micellar for Hair
I may be skeptical about micellars for face, but give me one for hair, and I instantly want to lather up. DevaCurl Buildup Buster Micellar Water Cleansing Serum, $28, is the first of its kind. It's designed to wash away product buildup like a clarifying shampoo, but it doesn't strip hair of moisture. Instead, it deposits a small amount of hydrating oils to leave hair soft and curls springy.
