Nail art may not be going anywhere, but the no-manicure manicure is definitely having a moment. Still, bare nails look so unfinished after so many years of heavy-handed polish application -- so you need to wear something.

Leave it to Zoya to perfect the nothing-but-something mani. The Zoya Naked Manicure Women's Starter Kit, $25, contains a nail-strengthening base, a sheer pink that makes nails look healthy and vibrant, an almost-clear white to define your tips and a satin topcoat. The polishes dry quickly so you can easily wear four or more layers at once. And the topcoat that ties it all together -- making it look like you're not wearing anything at all.

I run outside all year long; and while the snowy New York winters can be challenging, it's the summer heat and humidity that really slows me down.

This year, I'm wearing a Mission Athletecare Cooling Performance Cap, $22.99, and it's making all the difference. The fabric gets cool when it gets wet -- and it inevitably does get drenched in sweat. It also offers as much sun protection as my favorite SPF 50, keeping my scalp from getting scorched. Plus, it looks cuter than the old baseball caps I used to steal from my husband.

I wouldn't -- and probably couldn't -- run without it.

While the name Sweat Cosmetics is somewhat unfortunate, I'm totally on board with their mission: to create translucent powders and mineral foundations with SPF you can wear while you workout. The Sweat Cosmetics Translucent Mineral Powder SPF 30, $48 (with brush), won't drip down your face and won't cause breakouts. The powder is built into a refillable brush, and while this delivery system has been done before, it's never been done quite like this. The brush is seriously luxe -- you'd think you were dusting a Kevyn Aucoin makeup brush across your cheeks. In fact, it's so good I bet it could make the sunscreen-averse reapply and the makeup-averse wear foundation … even when they're working out.

I don't necessarily think of Victoria's Secret as my go-to source for all things sophisticated, but that's exactly how I'd describe their new body care line. The bottles are chic -- black and white with a simple Chanel-esque black ribbon around the neck -- and the scents are understated and pretty. I'm religiously using the Victoria's Secret Ultra Rich Cream Body Wash in Conditioning Coconut Milk, $18, which produces a silky lather that makes my skin feel soft and hydrated all day (even when I forget to apply my favorite in-shower body lotion). And I love the way this collection is dressing up my bathroom.

I love being pale. However, there is a moment each August when I notice all the bronzed people around me and I feel a twinge of jealousy. I'll go home and slather myself in self-tanner -- but only from the neck down. Face self-tanner has always scared me for some reason, and with all the acids and scrubs I use, it doesn't last more than a day anyway.

Instead, I'll dust on my new favorite bronzer, Cle de Peau Bronzing Powder Duo, $95. I could wax poetic about the creamy powder formula and light diffusing technology, but I'm most obsessed with the gorgeous packaging and the perfectly bronzed glow it gives me.
