Butter London Nail Lacquer in Sozzle, $15
Sure, sheer nail polish is a huge trend for spring, but you don't want to be a conformist all the time -- am I right? If you're itching to wear something a little more daring, I recommend this intense green shade from Butter London's Lolly Brights collection. Maybe try some subtle nail art while you're at it.

While I love hair oils, one drop too many and my fine hair turns into a limp mess. Leave it to Kérastase to formulate an oil that's perfect for less-thick hair types. It's made with white flower oil for shine and frizz control and pomegranate extract for UV protection.

Even if this mascara didn't benefit charity, I would still tell you to run out and buy it -- it's that good. It thickens and lengthens without being clumpy, and the pink packaging is adorable. Plus, the fact that every cent of the purchase price helps fund non-profits that work to educate women and girls (through The Pretty Powerful Campaign) doesn't hurt either.

AERIN Beauty Rose Balm, $58
Everyone should keep a multi-tasking balm in their bag -- something you can use to hydrate lips and cuticles and even tame flyaway hairs in a pinch. This one from AERIN is ultra luxurious -- from the minimalist packaging to the ingredients (each pot is made with the extract from more than 350 rose petals). And unlike many other rose-infused balms, the scent is subtle and not too sweet.

When I went to the launch event for the newest Alien fragrance and the room was decked out like a Moroccan souk, I knew I was going to like the scent. From mint tea to Berber rugs, I'm a sucker for anything from the North African country. Sure enough, I love the combination of Tunisian neroli, bergamot, Tiare flower and white amber. It has just the right balance of mysterious and pretty.

In case you need even more incentive to buy this fragrance, it's now refillable -- as are all Thierry Mugler bottles. Simply look for the special dispenser -- called "The Source" -- at your local department store. Not only do you save waste, you save some cash, too: The refill is about $30 cheaper than buying a new bottle.
