The Spot Treatment: Oxy Maximum Action Spot Treatment, $6

While Zeichner stresses that getting rid of acne requires a complete skin care regimen, sometimes you just need to hone in on one stubborn zit. Enter this spot treatment, which was recently reformulated to maintain calm during the attack. In addition to the intense blast of 10-percent benzoyl peroxide, it contains botanical extracts that have been proven to take down redness in less than four hours.
