These types of moisturizing lipsticks are admittedly hard to find at the drugstore, which is just part of the reason we're crushing on this guy, from a big-time British brand that only recently launched stateside. It's also choice for anyone who wants stronger color, since the pigments are more intense. But don't worry, you still can easily build it up or tone it down.
It's hard to believe that Burt's Bees could come up with a lip product that would rival their beloved balm...but they did. This lipstick is, no surprise here, 100 percent natural and packed with hydrating moringa and red raspberry seed oils. While it only comes in six shades, the variety of nudes and pinks perfectly satisfies all our color needs, and hits the right in-between of neither supersheer nor totally opaque. Plus, the shiny finish means you can skip gloss after.
There are over 100 lipsticks in this lineup, in all kinds of colors and finishes, but it's the selection of Creams that we can't get enough of. The laundry list of conditioning ingredients is extensive and includes aloe vera, jojoba, and avocado oils for an extra creamy consistency and feeling. And when it comes to longevity, the staying power of this is top-notch, never coming off on our coffee up.
Close your eyes while applying this and you'd swear you were swiping on a balm. The pigments in the eight shades are also unique in that they look slightly different on everyone; they're meant to allow your natural lip color shine through. The color is definitely more on the sheer side, so you may want to reapply, but it feels so good going on that you'll happily do so all day long.
In very exciting news, there are now three new shades of this uber-comfortable lipstick, one of our go-tos. The moisturizing formula contains a plumping complex (but don't worry, there's no stinging or burning involved) to give your pout a little boost, and it's also infused with a phyto-endorphin complex that boosts your mood. We don't know if it's that or the awesome, long-wearing bold color that makes us happy, but we'll take it.
