Holiday Makeup Palette: Lorac Mega Pro Palette 2
Price Range: $51-$75

If you love neutral colors, this palette, $59, -- with 16 matte and 16 shimmery shades -- is the one for you. The soft, buttery colors go on smoothly and blend like a dream. Because they're so soft, however, you need to be sure to tap your brush before applying, otherwise you'll end up with a powdery mess. There are also a variety of warm and cool tones that work on a variety of skin tones. Standout shades: goji, penny, custard, moonlight, cinnamon and tangerine.

Holiday Makeup Palette: Stila A Whole Lot of Love Set
Price Range: $51-$75

This envelope-packaged palette, $59, is a love letter to makeup junkies everywhere. The vintage-inspired packaging opens up to reveal four gorgeously pigmented blushes, 20 eye shadows that range from matte taupe to shimmery cobalt and a deluxe sample of Stila's Huge Extreme Lash Mascara.

Holiday Makeup Palette: UD Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette
Price Range: $51-$75

Everything from the black and white packaging with a gilded frame to the eye shadow shades in this palette were hand-picked by Stefani and Urban Decay co-founder Wende Zomnir. Small details, like the gilded hardware on the packaging and the "Magic's in the Makeup" quote on the mirror, make this limited edition palette a can't-miss.
While the shadow colors may be more neutral than you'd expect from the No Doubt singer, the taupes and browns are rounded out by bright pink, blue and gold shades. Plus, they're all the shades are superpigmented and apply like butter.

Holiday Makeup Palette: Shu Uemura x Maison Kitsuné
Price Range $51-$75

Shine bright this holiday season with the festive, colorful-yet-wearable shades in this palette, $65. Each shadow goes on smoothly and blends oh-so-easily, so you're able to mix, match and create a cohesive look (the mixture of the navy, gold and soft green looks especially fresh). And the packaging is, as expected from a collaboration between beauty and fashion brands, delightful.

Holiday Makeup Palette: Marc Jacobs The Free Spirit Style Icon No. 20 Plush Shadow
Price Range $76-$100

If you don't want to wear every shade in this Marc Jacobs palette, $99, I'm going to assume you were hit in the head with an icicle while on a romantic sleigh ride. Because that's the only logical explanation. It has just the right amount of neutral shades and jewel tones to create a variety of looks -- shadows eight and nine (a sheer olive green and shimmer pewter, respectively) look particularly captivating when paired together.
