Rosehips for Skin
Forget buying yourself a bouquet of flowers for your dining room table and instead, turn the fruit that's produced on rose bushes, known as a 'rosehip' into oil. Jackson says this 'accessory' is nature's star student for skin and hair. "It is extracted from the seeds of different wild rose species and is positively loaded with omega-6 fatty acids, which makes it a natural antioxidant with endless healing properties," she explains. Among them: Rosehips help heal sunburns, reduce dandruff, nourish dry hair and give your skin a beautiful glow.

If you have a slow cooker and access to a rosebush, pick the berries and wash them thoroughly before chopping them into small pieces. Then let them simmer for 4 to 6 hours, along with a carrier oil (like coconut or almond). Strain the mixture using a cheesecloth. Keep in your fridge to keep it fresh.
