Meyer lemons are known for the sweet flavor and aroma, so they basically make for the perfect bath bomb ingredient! Though the lemon essential oil does most of the heavy lifting aroma-wise, the zest adds extra authenticity.
Ingredients:
10 drops lemon essential oil
Zest from 1 Meyer lemon
1/2 cup citric acid
1 cup baking soda
Witch hazel in a spray bottle
Directions:
1. Mix the baking soda and citric acid together really well, I even tossed it into the food processor to make sure they were fully combined. That powdered the citric acid, giving the mixture a smooth texture.
2. Add in a few drops of the lemon essential oil, about half of the zest and then start to lightly spritz everything with the witch hazel. You'll want to do this last step quickly to make sure you're mixing before all of the witch hazel bubbles away (it will have a similar reaction to vinegar and baking soda). I used my hands to mix so I could feel the consistency, you're looking for slightly cool and a pinch damp, just wet enough that you cans squeeze some in your hand and it will hold the shape.
3. Once you hit that point press it into your molds. I used the super easy and nice silicone ice cube tray/mold shown above.
4. Use firm pressure to fill the molds. Let them air dry, in the tray, at room temp until they are solid. You can then easily pop them out and store in an air tight container until ready to enjoy.

Come on. It honestly doesn't get any cooler than Death Star bath bombs. And guess what? They're not actually any harder to make than your normal DIY bath bombs -- all you need is a Death Star ice mold, and you're basically good to go!
Ingredients:
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup corn starch
3 Tbsp Epsom salt
2 tsp sweet almond oil
3/4 tsp water
15-20 drops essential oil
Silver pearl dust or soap colorant
Star Wars Death Star mold
Directions:
1. Prepare your mold by brushing silver pearl dust inside.
2. In a large bowl combine baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and epsom salts. Optional: add a little pearl dust for a light grey tint to your bath bomb mixture.
3. In a small bowl combine almond oil, water and essential oil.
4. Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Mix with a whisk until fully combined. Test mixture by pressing a handful together. If the mixture doesn't hold, LIGHTLY spray water once or twice with a spray bottle. Avoid adding too much water or the mixture will fizz and not form in the mold correctly.
5. Press mixture into mold; dry overnight. Carefully remove from mold.
