I've written about dozens of great SPF products over the years, and I currently have three or four I'm happy to switch between on any given day. But the more I use Karyng Complete Broad Spectrum SPF50, $75, the more I find myself going back to it, and the better my skin looks. It's quickly eclipsing my other favorites.

I think the biggest reason this sunblock is so amazing is it's seriously moisturizing, yet it's not a moisturizer with SPF (an important distinction in my book) -- it's a sunblock first and foremost. It contains coconut oil, glycerin and lecithin to keep skin hydrated all day, as well as a high-tech anti-inflammatory complex and an echinacea extract for antioxidant protection. The texture is fantastic and mousse-y with a slight tint, and it sinks in incredibly fast despite being a mineral sunblock (with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide -- my sun-protection ingredients of choice because they create a physical barrier from UV rays). As an added bonus skin care dorks like me will appreciate, it also has iron oxides to protect skin from visible light. All that and it's almost completely natural and free of parabens, phthalates and synthetic fragrances.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that this sunblock was created by a brilliant dermatologist, Dr. Karyn Grossman. She knows a thing or two about skin aging, and this product fights it in multiple ways, which is why it's my current go-to -- and probably will be for a very long time. --Dawn Davis

I'm in an awkward phase, skin-wise. Wrinkles are becoming a concern, but my skin can't handle the majority of the superrich night creams out there. They leave me greasy and, on occasion, make me break out. I am not here for that. But I am here for Clarins Multi-Active Night, $56. This magical elixir was designed to be a bodyguard against skin problems brought on by lack of sleep and stress (*raises hand*). Teasel and organic California poppy tag-team fine lines and wrinkles, covering my anti-aging bases. Hyaluronic acid brings the moisture without the greasiness, which is perfect for my combination skin. And the formula is creamy, but doesn't feel like I'm suffocating my face when I put it on. Plus, it has a light touch of soothing fragrance that helps me unwind before bedtime (whenever that may be). I may never achieve that coveted eight hours of sleep, but at least I know this cream has got my back (face?). -- Allie Flinn

I'm always trying to achieve brighter skin. Between the California sun, which results in (not cute) freckles and my bad habit of picking blemishes, my skin takes quite a beating -- and it shows.

While there are hundreds of brightening products out there that claim to fix a spotty complexion, I've never had any real results until the day Shiseido White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector, $130, made its way across my desk. This lightweight serum sinks into my skin like a dream (keeping my morning routine quick), and zaps dark spots and acne scars within just a few weeks. Truthfully, I noticed a brighter complexion after just one week of devoted use, and after a month my skin was flawless, even and radiant.

Shiseido's MicroTarget technology targets each blemish and blurs their appearance. Meanwhile, the other active ingredient, SAKURAResist Technology (made from Japanese cherry blossoms), helps to minimize the appearance of future dark spots, creating an overall even and brighter complexion now and in the days to come (because lord knows old habits die hard). I apply the brightening serum in the morning between my cleanser and moisturizer, and again in the evening. The results? If you're like me, you dread the painstaking task of shaving your legs every couple of days. Without fail, the semi-barbaric practice leaves me with gashes or nicks on my shins, knees and ankles . And the second I sit down in the car, a glint of sunlight highlights the stray patch of hairs I missed on my kneecap. I hate shaving so much, I'm always on the lookout for a product that will somehow make it more bearable. Enter: Cremo Cooling Shave Cream, $7.99, which has saved not only my legs, but my sanity.

Cremo is a concentrated, non-foaming shave cream that comes in a tube that will easily last you two months or longer. Just spread it on, let it sit for a moment and shave it off. Because of the creamy, slick consistency, it stays in place and cushions your legs (especially the bony parts that are prone to nicks.) I especially love the tingly, cooling formula which contains peppermint, menthol and tea tree oils to soothe irritation and help prevent the dreaded razor burn. I enter the shower a porcupine and emerge with the smoothest, baby-soft legs you've ever felt (trust me on this one).

Gone are the days of dreading my date with my razor. And the box of bandages once on standby has been pushed to the back of my bathroom cabinet. With Cremo in my beauty arsenal, it's just smooth shaving from here on out. --Hannah Savin

I've never been the type of woman to experiment with outrageous makeup looks. "Natural" and "minimal" best describe me. So when Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Matte Lipstick, $38, in Jealous -- a vampy aubergine -- crossed my desk last year, I was ambivalent -- and maybe a little intimidated. This one, I decided, would be better tried out in private.

But a funny thing happened when I swiped it on: I felt like a total badass. My husband, who's never been a fan of bold lip color, did a double-take. And when I took it for a spin at the office, I received a record-breaking number of compliments. Now, it's my go-to lip color whenever I'm feeling brassy.

At $38 per tube, this lipstick may be a splurge, but there are so many reasons it's worth it. It's Dolce's first foray into mattes, and they nailed it. It glides on easily, without tugging, and lasts a solid six hours -- through breakfast and lunch. And I never feel like I need to reach for lip balm halfway though the day. In fact, it feels like I'm wearing nothing. The finish, more velvety than flat, means it won't highlight imperfections, like fine lip lines (a must for those of us over 40). And the gorgeous, deep color is superpigmented, so a little goes a long way.
