Travelling without tweezers can be torture -- like when you're gone for a week and you're stuck watching that one errant brow hair get longer and longer. Up until recently, the TSA wouldn't let you pack tweezers in a carry-on (and I only ever travel with a carry-on). So I figured out this workaround: mini tweezers.

The only problem is that tiny tweezers often go missing -- unless, that is, they're in a kit. I keep it in my travel makeup bag (which I never unpack and only use when I'm travelling), so I know I'm always covered, whether it's a splinter or that rogue brow hair. Confession: I sometimes sleep with my makeup on. And I pop the occasional pimple. But the one cardinal beauty sin I will never, ever commit? Letting my blonde hair turn brassy. Although I am a natural blonde (#humblebrag), I do get babylights or balayage to add a little somethin' somethin' to my hair. I have a confession to make: I don't like coffee.

Since my early teens, I have been blessed and cursed with oily skin. I put on my makeup first thing in the morning, and by the time I get to work I'm already touching it up with powder or blotting papers. It doesn't help that most foundations -- even mattifying formulas -- clog my pores and make me break out.
