You could have easily labeled Nanette Lepore's spring/summer collection as resort wear and we wouldn't have argued with you. The silky pieces, slouchy bottoms and flattering swimwear pieces (the best blend of modest and sexy) are perfect for vacation.

Thakoon Addition
Sneakers at fashion week -- we were instantly enthralled with the Thakoon Addition collection from the moment we saw the comfy footwear. Likewise, the rest of the line carried a sporty-chic vibe in mostly neutral colors (save one, lone lilac sweater.)

Cynthia Rowley
Cynthia Rowley's usual sporty, "surfer girl" looks stood apart from the rest of her collection at her NYFW presentation, which was separated into activewear and ready-to-wear. The ready-to-wear pieces took on mod shapes and patterns with lots of color-blocked pieces. This collarless coat was a memorable standout.
